43 | good to see you again

*1 year later*

Chenle woke up and stopped his alarm. At least that's what he thought it was.

He then realized that someone was calling him. He looked at his phone to see who was calling.

It was someone he didn't expect to randomly call him.

It was Jisung.

Ever since they've broken up, Jisung tried to ignore Chenle but he couldn't. Whenever he saw Chenle he would wave at him, hug him, try to have a conversation with him and even tried to hang out with him.

One thing Jisung couldn't do was call him or FaceTime him. He couldn't even text him.

Jisung still had feelings for Chenle. The reason he would try to have contact with Chenle in person was to make sure he still liked him back.

Which was safe to say. Chenle couldn't move on and still had feelings for Jisung as well.

"Hello?" Chenle asked.

"Uh. H-hi. Do y-you wanna m-maybe... uh.... h-hangout today," Jisung stuttered nervously. Chenle slightly smiled.

"Sure," Chenle said.

"Uh... so where d-do you wanna g-go?" Jisung was still stuttering.

"The park by my house," Chenle simply said.

"Ok. I'll see you!" Jisung said and quickly ended the call.

Chenle only laughed. He got up and started getting ready. He walked out the door and headed to the park. He didn't really care how long Jisung was going to take.

Chenle arrived at the park and saw Jisung already there.

"You're already here?" Chenle asked as he walked closer to Jisung.

"Y-Yea. I was here when I called you," Jisung said. Chenle only smiled at him.

"That's cute," Chenle smiled.

"No. You are," Jisung said. Chenle couldn't help but blush. He looked away and pouted. Trying to hide his face from Jisung.

"I wanted to hang out with you to talk to you about stuff," Jisung said.

"Oh ok. Are we gonna stay at the park or are we heading somewhere else?" Chenle asked.

"We can walk around the park. If that's fine with you?" Jisung asked. Chenle nodded his head.

They walked around the park for a bit. It was pretty quiet. None of them said a word.

"I'm sorry," Jisung said. Chenle raised an eyebrow.

"Sorry for what?" Chenle asked.

"Breaking up with you and then avoiding you," Jisung said. Chenle sighed.

"It's fine," Chenle simply said.

"It's not though. I'm really sorry," Jisung said. Chenle just nodded his head. "I still love you".

Chenle looked up at him and gave him a smile. "I still love you too". Jisung shook his head.

"No you don't. Why would you love someone who has hurt you so much," Jisung said. Chenle stopped walking and looked at Jisung.

"I still do. I haven't been able to date anyone else or even have a simple crush on someone else because all I think of is you. You hurt me but you were also hurting yourself. So I still love you," Chenle said.

Jisung's cheeks became a faint pink color.

"It's good to see you again," Jisung smiled at him. Chenle smiled back at him.

He couldn't help but lean in and give him a kiss on the cheek.

"What was that?" Jisung asked.

"Because I still love you," Chenle smiled.

After hanging out that one day, Chenle and Jisung have started hanging even more. They kept hanging out still in love with each other.

Eventually Jisung had the guts to ask him out again. Chenle said yes.

They kept them dating a secret though. It only remained a secret for about 4 months before someone found out that they were dating again.

Jisung was still struggling a lot but he included Chenle to help him along with Jeno.

"I still can't get over the fact that you two started to date again and in secret and kept it for 4 months," Jeno said.

"It wasn't that hard," Jisung laughed.

"That's not fair! Jaemin and I are your best friends and you didn't tell us," Jeno said. Chenle softly giggled.

"We wanted it to be a secret from you guys as well," Chenle said.

"Well it was clear that you guys didn't have any problems like you guys did last year," Jaemin smiled.

It was true. They were able to keep it a secret for so long because they didn't have problems. They were so in love and didn't fight at all. They was a few small fights but they would solve it on their own.

Jisung has also changed. He stopped smoking because of Chenle's sake, along with drinking.

Chenle has also somehow changed. He was more 'edgy' is how Jisung would explain. He was still soft but just a little bit less.

"I love you," Jisung said.

"I love you more," Chenle said. Jisung frowned.

"Impossible," Jisung said. Chenle shook his head and kissed Jisung on the nose.

"Not impossible," Chenle laughed.
