The next day I went home early, bc although I love spending time with my new friends, I'm still getting used to the positive attention I'm getting and I just needed some time alone.
When I came home, my mom was on the couch so I walked up to her.

"It was great actually, we had a lot of fun, but I'm pretty tired so I'm gonna go up to my room" I told her.
