"Holy shit." I gasp at the size of this party. There are literally hundreds of kids here. More kids then even attend my school. "Who are all these people?" I manage to ask Grayson through my utter shock.

"Oh, that's right this is your first party." Grayson laughs. "These parties are always all the kids in the high schools within a hour come." He shrugs like there's not just a sea of people.

It's very dark but there are a lot of different colored lights everywhere. So I can see around but not very well. It smells what I can only assume is alcohol and some type of illegal smoke. I grab Grayson's hand since I feel like we're likely to get separated with just his hand on my back.

"We're going to go where all our friends hang out." And he leads me through the crowd. When we first started dating he always called them "his" friends because well they were. But I've become pretty good friends with the boys so he now calls them "our" friends which I think is really sweet.

I look around as I let Grayson lead us through the crowd. There are so many people here. This house is huge and we're still squeezing through the crowds of people. Most people have a drink in their hand. Who can afford this much alcohol for this many people?  That's got be hundreds of dollars...

I nearly trip on a girl and before I can say sorry Gray's pulled me way past her. I try to look for familiar faces and I see a few but not many.

After what feels like an hour long walk we finally reach what looks like game room in the back of the house. There is a pool table, what I'm guessing is a beer pong table and a few couches. There is a red velvet rope in front of the door and what looks like two bouncers but they are definitely just senior football players. Grayson nods at one of them and he moves the rope. Are we really VIP? Or more like is Grayson really VIP? I guess so.

"What's up Grayson?!" Sam comes up and gives him a bro-hug.

"Nothing man." Grayson says as he moves to give his other friends greetings.

"Carter! No way he actually convinced you to come!" Sam bellows as he gives me a hug.

I laugh, "He promised me you wouldn't be here but I guess he lied." I jokily roll my eyes.

He bellows a deep laugh, "Brought that attitude I see."

"I got it when I had to swim through the hundreds of people."

He chuckles, "I always forget there is as many people as there are. That's why when Hilton's hosts the party we get a blocked off room." There are maybe 30 people in here, so I get it.

"Yeah, this is definitely nice." I say looking around the room. Grayson is off talking to Brock in the far corner.

"Do you want anything to drink?" Sam offers. Hmm do I? No... not tonight at least.

"No, I'm good but thank you."

"If you change your mind let me know. The drinks are in the kitchen and you have to swim through the sea to get there so don't go alone. You'll never find your way back here."

"Thanks Sam. I'm going to go find Gray since he's the only reason I'm here." I laugh.

"Sounds good. I'm going to venture out there and pick some lucky girl to bring into VIP. Hopefully I get something good in return." He winks as I fake gag and walks off.

I look back to the corner I last saw Grayson in and he's not there. Before panic can set it, I spot Brock walking over to me.

"What's up shortcakes?" He gives me hug. "Still can't believe Gray got you here."

"Ha-ha. Did nobody think I'd ever come?"

"Nope, not really." He chuckles. "Gray said you got a weekend off but I didn't really believe it."
