Hello, everybody! It's been quite a while since I've updated (pretty much exactly 3 months by now) and its had me thinking about some stuff. Quite honestly, I think now is the perfect time to close the story. I'm personally satisfied with where Chapter 33 left off, and I really never expected to get this far. I really planned on finishing by the release of Infinity War when I first started writing this story (which is funny to think about looking back). As of now, it's essential for me to focus on school, which is coming up very soon, and I would hate to drag out the story more than I already have. The last few times I've written, I've been really struggling to come out with new ideas, which I feel has bled through sometimes. While I would enjoy writing more fight scenes and battles, I don't have the energy for it as of now, and this story is surrounding a more domestic Steve and Bucky anyways. I would really like to thank everyone who has stayed around through the journey of writing this, and it's been fun. In full honesty, I still love Stucky but... it's not the same for me anymore. After a lot of reflection and thought, Steve's character for me was really messed up and got twisted in Endgame, which has turned me away from his character a little bit. However, I still do love him, for he was after all the first character in the MCU that I fell in love with. With that being said, writing Stucky content has been very hard and it's just getting to a point where I'm just sick of the ship itself, which I hate. I love both of these characters so much, and I would hate to not love them together as much, which is already happening. So thank you once more to everyone that read the story. It truly means the world to me that so many people would take the time to read this, and it makes my heart so full. Thank you so much, and I truly hope you'll stick around for more stories in the future. <3
