October 8th, 2015 The Next Morning...

I woke up to sun shining through my window right into the room. I groaned and rolled over checking the time on my phone. It was 11:30am. I laid on my back and closed my eyes. I was about to fall back asleep when I smelled something burning.

"What the fuck." I mumbled jumping up. I only had on my boxers so I threw on a pair of shorts I saw on the floor and ran downstairs. I saw the broad from last night I called up and saw she was in the kitchen, obviously struggling to cook.

"Yo what the fuck are you doing?" I said semi-yelling while scaring her in the process.

"I'm cooking." She said rolling her neck. I cut off all the burners and looked at her.

"Yo, you're gonna have to get out." I said. She smacked her lips. I looked over my shoulder and saw Chubbs walking in. "Please escort this lady out of my house." I said sighing. He nodded and made sure she left while I went back upstairs. I went into my room and grabbed my phone off the dresser. I sat on the bed and realized my phone was only on 20% but I didn't care. I looked on Instagram and saw that Mahlani posted the snippet of her song this morning. I smiled listening to it. I was happy for her. I decided to plan a surprise release and listening party for her. I called my manager, Oliver which was also her manager but she hasn't met him yet.

"Hello?" He said into the phone.

"O, I need you to plan a small release party." I told him standing up. "We'll throw it here in the party room, I'll have Gelo decorate it and I'll send you a couple of people to send invites to." I told him.

"Alright, I'll get this planned ASAP...is 9:30pm a good time?" He asked. I scrunched up my face while thinking.

"Do 10pm." I told him getting up and going into my bathroom.

"Okay, I'll call you soon." He said hanging. I placed my phone on the bathroom counter and I turned on the sink. I grabbed my toothbrush and laced toothpaste on it. I brushed my teeth for about 3 minutes and then I rinsed my mouth out with water. I grabbed my mouthwash and opened it pouring some in the cap. I swished it around in my mouth for about a minute and then I spit it out. I grabbed my towel and wiped off my face with water. I placed moisturizer on and then I walked out the bathroom with my phone in my hand. I always make sure I take care of myself because I don't want to be 28 looking like I'm in my 40s. Hell nah. I dialed Gelo's number and told him everything that was going on. I texted Oliver the some people that he needed to invite and once I did that I was basically done with making calls. I walked downstairs and saw Chubbs sitting on the couch watching TV. I let him know everything that was going and to call up for some
More security for later on tonight. I decided to DM Mahlani's fiancée myself and invite him.

champagnepapi: what's up Kenneth, this is drake and I was just dming u to invite u to Mahlani's s surprise release party for her single dropping tonight, hmb if you can make it or not.

Once that was done I called Mahlani to let her know we would have to cancel the studio session. I faked as if I was sick.

"Hello?" I said fake coughing.

"Hey Aubrey, what's up?" She asked. I sniffled and breathed out.

"I was gonna ask if it's okay that we cancel the studio session tonight? I'm a little under the weather and I don't want to get you or anyone else sick." I said coughing again and sniffing. I tried not to bust out laughing.

"Oh yeah, that's fine. I hope you feel better:" She said sweetly making me smile. I sniffed again.

"Thank you, I'll talk to you later." I said.
