I was currently running around the house trying to get everything ready. I was not letting Lani help me because I wanted her to rest and not stress. She tried to argue with me so, I at least let her cook all of the food, but I did not let her set up or anything. I finally finished setting the table with all of the food in the middle of it and I heard footsteps. I turned around and my mouth dropped.

"Damn Lani, you look good." I said biting my lip and walking over to her grabbing her waist making her blush.
"Thank you baby." She said kissing my lips.
"So you tryna get bent over this table real quick or?..." I trailed off still staring her up and down.
"Aubrey no! Everyone will be here shortly." She said rubbing my cheek.
"Ugh, you never wanna do a quickie." I said pouting. She laughed and stood on her tippy toes kissing by my lips.
"You always choose the wrong times." She told me. I started to lift up her dress but the doorbell rung.
"Man fuck." I mumbled rolling my eyes while Lani giggled. "Can you answer the door while I try to calm myself down." I said as she continued to laugh walking towards the door.
"Yeah, yeah I got it. Go fix yourself." She said and I walked upstairs.

I opened the door and saw my mom, dad, Milo, Hailey, and Milah.
"Hey! Happy Thanksgiving! Come in." I said stepping aside and letting them in.
"Hey Lani." Milo said pushing my head making me smack my lips.
"Hey ugly." I said rolling my eyes. I turned to Hailey and Milah and hugged them both. I hugged both of my parents too and escorted them to the table after they put the food they brought in the kitchen.
"Where's Aubrey?" My mom said.
"Oh he isn't done getting ready, you know how extra he is. He should be down any minute." I said lying while laughing.
"I'n not extra, even if I am, what about it?" Aubrey said behind me making me jump and clutch my chest while everyone just laughed.
"You scared me Aubrey." I said rolling my eyes while he playfully pouted.
"Sorry." He said innocently smiling and kissing my cheek. He started to greet everyone and I just smiled. The doorbell rung and I went to the door and opened it seeing Aubrey's parents and his cousin, Ethan. Ethan was that one cousin that everyone liked in Aubrey's family and him and Ethan were inseparable. They were like brothers.
"Hey you guys! Happy Thanksgiving!" I said letting them in and hugging all three of them.
