Mistakenly Mine

Silently

After the ice cream they went back to the hotel. Sky held Klaus's hand for all the way from the car to the room.
They entered. Stefan wasn't back yet.

Klaus: Get in bed now. You're gonna stay in bed all day to make sure your temperature doesn't go up anymore.
Sky: I don't want to stay in bed. It's boring.

Klaus picked her up and she started laughing and fighting to get out of his arms. He put her in bed and covered her. She tried to get up, but he pushed her down and kept her with his hands.

Klaus: I'm going to let go, only if you promise to stay in bed.
Sky: Do I have to?
Klaus: Yes. For today.
Sky: Alright, but I'm kind of hungry.
Klaus: Well we can just call room service.

Sky laughed which made Klaus smile at her.
They ordered fries. Sky was so happy. Klaus got in bed with her. They watched television while eating. When the movie was over Sky was cuddling in his arms.

Sky: Daddy.

Klaus stroked her cheek gently. Sky caught his hand and started giggling.

Sky: Dad?
Klaus: Yeah love?
Sky: When can I see uncle Damon again?
Klaus: I don't know.
Sky: Where are we going?
Klaus: I don't know that either.
Sky: When will uncle Stefan come back?
Klaus: Soon. Very soon. He should be back in any minute now.
Sky: Last question.
Klaus: Alright.
Sky: Can we go shopping?

Klaus looked at her for a minute and than smiled.

Klaus: Not today. Maybe tomorrow.
Sky: Alright. I think I will go back to sleep.
Klaus: Okay love.

Sky closed her eyes and went back to sleep. She didn't know what else to do.
When she woke up, she was in the backseat of the car covered in a blanket.

Stefan: Hello there sleepy head.
Sky: Hi.

Stefan reached his hand to touch her forehead.

Stefan: She doesn't have temperature anymore.
Klaus: That's good.
Sky: Where are we going?
Klaus: We are looking for werewolves.
Sky: Am I a werewolf?
Klaus: I am so you are too.
Sky: I don't like being a werewolf. It's so much pain.
Stefan: Don't worry. You will never activate your curse.
Sky: All these talking about werewolves  are making me hungry.

Klaus laughed. Stefan smiled at her.

Stefan: If you see anywhere where we can get food, stop.
Klaus: Of course.

Soon Klaus stopped in front of a supermarket.

Klaus: Wait in the car. I'll go.

Sky was still laying down, still looking tired.

Stefan: Do you like him now?
Sky: He is nice to me now.
Stefan: I bet he is.

Stefan said not looking at her. Klaus came back ten minutes later with a bag full of things to eat and drink. He got in the driver's seat and turned around and gave Sky the bag.

Sky: Let's see what we have here.

Sky giggled.

Sky: I have chocolate!

She screamed happy and Stefan and Klaus laughed at her.

Stefan: Does it have anything to eat there besides snacks?

Stefan asked looking at Klaus who was smirking and driving.

Sky: I got strawberry milk. I love strawberry milk.

Stefan was smiling at her. She was so happy about everything.

Stefan: Really what else do you have there sweetie?
Sky: Well I got my chocolate. I got my strawberry milk, I got chips, I got an apple and there is a sandwich down there in the end of the bag.
Stefan: Okay eat the sandwich first and than the chocolate.
Sky: But the chocolate melts so I have to eat it first.
Klaus: She is right about that.
Stefan: Yeah, but we eat dessert in the end.
Sky: But I want my chocolate. It's strawberry chocolate.  I love everything that has strawberry.
Stefan: Sky please eat your sandwich.
Sky: No I want my chocolate.
