Park Minah looked down on her watch that was hugging her left wrist before she looked up to scan around her surroundings, sighing. She was in the company's cafeteria on eleven fifteen all alone.

It was her third day working as the CEO's secretary in Vantae Enterprises Holdings, one of the leading companies in South Korea.

The new secretary should be happy, not sighing when they were offered a salary per month that could cover one's living for three months. Not that Minah was ungrateful or anything. She was just curious and confused beyond belief.

On her first day of working there, she had a briefing with a man named Jung Hoseok that introduced himself as the CEO's right hand. Jung Hoseok at first showed her around, until they made a halt somewhere in the company that he finally told her the specific duties she had to do no matter what.

"Your lunch, unlike anyone else in this company, is at eleven sharp. You are expected to be back on your desk a quarter before twelve."

Minah could only nod then. She wanted to ask but afraid to do so. So Hoseok continued.

"During the time you are on your desk, do not let anyone enter, no matter who they are, even if it's a family member. If they insisted on going in, tell them to wait and inform me about it first. Don't do anything but hold them from entering the CEO's office before I give you further instructions on what to do in that situation."

"Will do, sir."

Jung Hoseok smiled then, but Minah could see that despite the lovely gesture, what the man had to say next was serious, Minah couldn't help but gulp.

"Remember, Miss Park. Don't let anyone in, even a family member during lunchtime. A secretary before you were fired because she thought that it was okay to let the CEO's big brother entered thinking that it's just a family member, no big deal, despite me telling her, reminding her, that she can't let anyone enter a couple of times already. She was fired the next day. I hope you can take this warning very seriously."

Minah then wanted to ask, because her curiousness killed a cat somewhere that she eventually did, but the answer she got was so obscure, it didn't make her content but more curious than before.

"Just a regular visit from this person that's too important that the CEO does not want to be disturbed, even by a family member."

So here Minah was, all alone in the cafeteria, couldn't help but wonder about the reasons behind why she had to do these specific jobs. Who was this person that had to meet the CEO? And why the CEO didn't want to be disturbed by anyone during his meeting with them? What could they be discussing?

What if she couldn't stop people from entering the CEO's office during lunchtime? Would she get fired?
