Time: around 8 am

"Let's meet at the Shinjuku station, they said. We'll go together on the first day of school, they said. That they'll run fucking late, they didn't say" you thought as you tapped your foot on the ground until you heard voices calling your name

"We're here!" Shouted a girl's voice, making you turn your head to the source of the voice

"Holy shit, I thought that I was going to start the new year alone" you sassed as in front of you appeared a short girl with blue hair styled in two pigtails and a trans boy with short, green hair. They were your friends, Saiko and Tooru

"Sorry, [Y/N]-chan" apologized Tooru. "I had to wait for Saiko to finally wake up"

"Hey!" Exclaimed Saiko. "It's called beauty sleep, you should try it sometime, you night owls"

"Yeah, sure" you chuckled at her as you patted her head. "By the way, where are those idiots?"

"The idiots are right here" you heard a male's voice behind you which made you freeze in place

"Y-yo, Shirazu, Urie" you greeted the two boys as they were now in front of you

"Really mature" said Urie in his usual monotone voice as he hit your head, but not too hard to not hurt you

"Hey! It's your fault for making me wait!" You exclaimed as you rubbed the place. "And you shouldn't hit a girl!"

"Who said that you're a girl?" Urie said sarcastically as you felt how a wave of rage hit you straight in the face

"[Y/N], you're the only one that lives so close to the station, of course we're taking a bit" Shirazu sassed

"Ahhhh, y'all are impossible!" You exclaimed as they started to chuckle at your short temper that popped out of nowhere every morning

So this was your squad. The five of you were a team since kindergarten. You could say that you all grew up together and are going to end as a team. You were known as the Quinx squad (quinx means 5).

Time skip

"I already want to skip classes" Shirazu groaned frustrated as the five of you made your way towards the roof

"For once, I agree with Shirazu-kun" Mutsuki said in a whiny voice. "Three hours of math one after the other is a real energy killer"

"Never thought I'm gonna hear Mutsi say that" Saiko gasped dramatically

"Yo, drama queens" you called them all as you had your hands behind your head for support. "Wanna go to a coffee shop after school?" You asked as they all hummed in response. "Then it's decided. Where y'all wanna go?"
