Roman was hugging Logan loosely when they woke up that morning.
"Morning Lo." Roman smiled, kissing the top of his head.
"Morning," Logan yawned, "are you okay?"
Roman nodded, "I'm okay, only a concussion."
"I'm sorry." Logan whispered, "I'm so sorry."
"Hey, what's wrong?" Roman asked, gently tilting his boyfriends chin up.
"The day you asked me to the dance," Logan choked out, "I got a call. It was the same person who called Dee and Virgil. I hung up on them before they could finish their sentence."
Roman chuckled lightly, "You hung up on someone who was threatening you?"
Logan blushed, "shut up."
Roman hugged Logan close, "why didn't you tell me sooner."
Logan felt tears prick at his eyes, "You were so excited for the dance, I couldn't ruin that for you. I didn't think they'd actually try something, I-"
"Lo," Roman interrupted, "it's okay."
"I'm sorry." Logan cried, hiding his face in Roman's chest.
"You're okay, Lo." Roman whispered.
Logan nodded, "I was so scared. I don't want to lose you."
"Shh," Roman rubbed the smallers back, "you're okay, I'm okay."
Logan nodded, "when are we leaving?"
"Soon." Roman said, "my mom's are coming to pick us up."
They stayed hugging like that for a few minutes. Then Roman started laughing.
"What's so funny?" Logan asked.
"We're both still wearing our suits." Roman smiled.
Logan shook his head, a small smile on his face, "of course you would be thinking about appearances at such a time."
"What's that supposed to mean!?" Roman gasped in mock hurt.
Logan chuckled, "nothing."
Roman smiled and rested his forhead against Logan's, "I love you Lo."
Logan smiled and closed his eyes, "I love you too Ro."
