Universe is a song by Maeum of BTS released on February 1, 2019, as part of her solo album "EMPATHY". The song focuses on the members of BTS and their personal connection to Maeum. This is their first time hearing their part of the song.

It wasn't every day that the boys were grouped together without notice. It was especially uncommon to be filming without Maeum's presence. No one in their crew, not even their own manager Sejin had told them of what they would be doing. All they knew was they were being separated one by one and placed in front of a camera, white background behind them, headphones on and a black screen laptop in front of them.
SEOKJIN
"This is weird. This is really weird and the fact that you guys are keeping quiet isn't helping." Were the words the eldest spewed as he was finished putting on the headphones and staring at the black screen taunting him to click play. He took one look at the crew who remained stiffed lip to his words.
He released a sigh before he let his index finger click play.
The BigHit logo greeted him which threw him off. His eyes peaked upward towards the crew but they remained still faced.
The sweet sound of Maeum's voice filled his ears. The black screen filled with white and the beautiful face belonging to Maeum fell onto Jin's eyes. It was unexpected and had the man jumping from shock with a soft yell coming from him but shock was replaced with confusion after a few seconds.
"Where is this from? Is this from a music video?" He questioned but they remained unanswered from the crew.
The scene changed. From the beauty of Maeum to her in the dark road, she walked through with the softest of a smile. Two grass roads that stretched beyond her.
Jin scooted closer to the screen to the point he held the laptop in his hands as he stared at the objects clumped in different parts of the grassy terrain.
He could've sworn Maeum walking through resembled one of their many walks together.
It was then that he listened to the lyrics and felt the velvety sweet voice speak to him and only him. Maeum fiddled with the object that he now confirmed belong to him as she sang to him a message of love.
She sang of her love for him. The man who entered her life unexpectedly and grasped her heart without her awareness. Their walks which had been a way to get away from the loudness of the members had become a necessity for her, a time where it was just them. Their trips for ice cream something she didn't put meaning to now is forever associated with their time of euphoric bliss of being in the other's company.
