It was a foolish idea to believe all they would be doing was going through a safari. It was pitch black, the windows on the bus barely saw through the outside and there was no one else in sight. The situation was one to be wary of but, to be frank, Maeum was not with it. She was in sweats paired with some socks and sandals. Stolen from Jin's closest she was draped in his hoodie that cut to her mid-thigh and lacked any sort of makeup, letting her bare face breathe.

The words she did gather was "safari" and "partnering up". Her head turned to the person next to her, Jungkook occupied the space close to her and locked an intense gaze that could only be described as an anime battle stare.

Usually rivals, the two were anything if not competitive. Opposing forces, they were often placed in opposing teams and fought against each other as if they were in war and their side was on the brink of losing. Cheating, shortcutting and persuading were some of the tactics used in order to win the war.

But as if that competitiveness had lied dormant, Maeum grasped onto the younger boy's arm and placed her head on his shoulder, asserting themselves as a team. Jungkook showed on opposing and guided them both into the bus.

The Queen and King of Competitiveness have settled their war for cuddle time

The two sat at the back of the bus with Maeum taking the window seat and continuing her resting against the boy's shoulder. She laid resting as the tour guide had called out animals and terrains outside the bus. Well known with the boys' loudness, her ears had learned to tune themselves out and fall into a deep sleep when needed.

But just as she head Hoseok's scream (as she still laid unbothered), it was her being shoved awake and seeing a different tour guide did she understand that they were not just on a safari.

"Well, fuck," has Maeum mumbled response to their zombie escapade. She watched the scaredy-cat of the group scream his lungs out the second he left the bus and as the two tour guides guided them all out, she knew they would have to guide themselves through the hoard of zombies.

"Let's stick together," Jungkook grasped her hand.

"Yeah, we got this," Maeum assured as they entered the zombie sea.

A running corpse with a gargled roar aiming for them both was the reason their words meant nothing the second they parted and went their own ways. Maeum held no sympathy as she left the boy in the dust and maneuvered herself past the hoards of zombies to get to the other side. Jungkook held the same sentiment; not one glance at Maeum before he loosened his hold and ran in the opposite direction from her.

Another sea of zombies was stuck in the eighth's path. Jin was the first to move before the other's followed except for Maeum who watched as the boys moved to grasp red envelopes from the zombies.

"Why are we doing this? We all know we're a bunch of cowards."  Maeum screamed as she puts past the zombies and into the safe zone. She stood and watched as one by one the boys came. She searched for the youngest and to her surprise he looked cool as a cucumber, his face holding a smug grin as his handheld an opened envelope.
