SHIELD's spy, Percy's school trouble and Downtown's warning

Nick:

 I typed frantically on the device. Then it all stopped, the screen went dark green before shifting to black. I pressed the buttons furiously and groaned. Suddenly the screen relit and showed me nothing but a word.

DOWNTOWN

My computer changed back to its usual home screen and documents as nothing happened.

"What in hell's name – "Then it clicked. Hell's name. it can't be. Could it? He mentioned meeting her husband, but he couldn't want revenge so soon. He couldn't be able to reach our services or infiltrate us, right?

DOWNTOWN, I scribbled it onto a sticky note and put into my pocket. I opened my drawer where I took out my personal phone. He kept messaging me, complaining about the Avengers. I never had time to reply, especially at work.

I tapped into a video I took a while back.

A noise was blared into my ears. party poppers. "Happy Birthday dad!" Percy and Annabeth yelled at the same time. Both called me dad when we weren't near others. Coulson was there too but he's a long-time friend and deserved to know. They had just started dating and told Coulson about their demigod status. There was a blue cake, decorations in our house, Annabeth holding Percy's hand. They both smiled which made my day. We were happy, so happy.

I stopped the video. It's all gone. She'll never be there for another birthday. I'll never be able to see her marry my son. Annabeth, the girl who I considered my daughter, is gone. She can't help me with this issue, not Percy or SHIELD troubles – not again.

A day later

Tony: The calls I'm getting from Happy are beginning to get repetitive. He leaves voicemails or texts lists of what the school has told him.

Percy made rude comments in Science.

Percy didn't come home in the car

Percy's doing great work, but the teachers are calling to complain about his behaviour

Percy got a week's worth of detention

I run a hand through my hair, pulling at the roots with wide eyes. how can one kid to all this in a week? It's been a week! I go to his room and see him doing homework alone. Peter's in the lounge doing this, why don't they help each other?

I knock on the door and see him lookup. Percy pulled out his earbuds to listen. "Hey," I came in and sat down on the edge of his bed. "What's up?"

"Just checking in," I said and suddenly got an idea. "How're your classes."

Percy's eyes narrowed. He knew something was up. "They're fine. why do you ask?" he looked away when a noise brought us to the window. People were in the hall, work colleges.

"I should take care of that," I said quickly, dashing out. SHIELD agents are who I saw. They spoke of an issue; SHIELD's got a spy.

I had a shitty day at school. I'm SO tired too.
