Little late dearies. Sorry for the wait, I had school and homework to complete (even though this is pre-written).

Anywho, it's rather long so enjoy.

Also, fuck mental health day, I ain't paying a pound to wear my own clothes.

Percy:

My eyes fluttered open slowly. The dreams were nothing I hadn't seen before. I heard an angry groan.

"How are you awake already?!" someone said. I recognised that voice. I felt something stick into my arm, a feeling of wariness and it being taken out. "Get that to Bruce." Tony, I realised. It was Tony. What happened? My eyes were opening, I was strapped down to a table.

"so, I'm your test subject? Take my blood and learn my secrets?" I said in an attempt to not laugh. Tony did laugh however and came over to me so I could see him. I moved my head to look at him.

"Not exactly. I've called Fury, he's on his way." Tony informed me. What? Why? "You're got some injuries, new ones that I want him to know about. You're not eating well, and your body is weakening. When you came to stay here, he told me to inform him if anything like this happens." I sighed.

"course he did," I said half-heartedly. Tony frowned at me.

"Kid – "

"You don't have to call me that. Percy is fine." I interrupted. He straightened.

"Percy, you could die if you don't eat. I think it's best to notify your family, can I have their names?" Tony asked.

I sigh and close my eyes. "You've already done that. Nick's the only family I've got right now." I said before opening my eyes. my voice was full of regret. I prayed my dad would let this go. thankfully I think he did. "Can you unstrap me?" he looked at something my eyes couldn't reach.

"Will you try and run away?" Tony asked.

"No," I said. He looked up again, then began to undo the restraints. "That was Romanoff, wasn't it?" He gave me a smug look which meant it was. I sat up with the help of Tony. Bruce came in the room with an uneasy look. "It's the blood results, right?"

"How did you know?" Bruce wondered. I shrugged. He showed them to Tony and then the others. All of them stared at me like I could explode at any moment. I found that amusing enough that I smiled.

"Percy, care to explain why half your DNA are missing?" Tony asked. Steve, Natasha, Clint and Bruce stood reading the results. I wasn't sure where the others were.

"I'm good," I said, sitting back into the bed. I knew it wasn't a question but more of a demand. The others waited for so many answers that I wasn't ready to give them. The AI alerted Tony.

"Director Fury has arrived." It announced. I let my eyes widen. Boy was this going to be a day.

Time skip

Nick walked in and stood with his arms crossed. I sat cross-legged on the bed like a little kid. The others had this glow of fear in their eyes from his presence alone.

"Well?" He asked nobody in particular.

Tony stepped forward. "I told you he hasn't been eating well so we gave him a check-up. His blood is lacking a variety of important minerals, but the thing is – well he's missing half his DNA." Nick gave me a look. I gave them my signature lopsided grin while I waited for Nick to come up with an excuse.

"And do you know why that is?" Nick then asked, hoping to hide the fact that he knew the true reason. I made no attempt to hide that I knew exactly why it was missing and they were fully aware. The team also were aware that they wouldn't be able to trick me into telling them, therefore they looked at Nick for answers.

"No, sir. We were hoping you would." Steve intriguingly said. Nick's face turned blank and remained with a stone-cold expression. I had rarely seen him like this, he's so friendly and fatherly at home. I don't think I like this side of him, it's not Nick.

Nick grunted. "Let me talk to him, alone." He said sternly. Tony went to begin his long rant of protest, but Clint took him out of the room quickly before that happened. I looked at Nick shamefully. "Perce – "I cut him off with a sad sigh.

"I know what you're going to say – just don't. I know I'm not eating; I-I know what I've been doing." He hugged me shortly. I willed myself to not cry, I couldn't do this to him now. "sorry Nick."

"You're going to eat for now on and I'm going to make sure they know it too." I groaned softly. Nick smiled. "And I don't care whether its apples – also are you serious with those? Or whether it's blue food. They can make you blue pancakes, order any takeout, as long as you eat it." I dropped my head at his statement.

"And my results?" I wondered.

"Leave it. I don't know anything about it as far as they know, but I'll make sure they don't look into it." He promised. A few moments of silence later Nick asked something of actual importance. "Any news on him?" my eyes perked up.

"They're all looking. Nico – he went travelling but I got a call from him. I couldn't understand what he was trying to say but – but I think he's missing." Nick's eyes looked sad and distraught.

"I'd look for him with our servers but you halflings aren't the easiest to find. And besides, I don't trust our systems lately." Nick informed. I tilted my head, knowing he had a point.

"What's new?" I ask in curiosity.

Nick's eyes went shady, almost blank but the emotion still poured into them. "Not here. just remember something for me." he sounded like Nico. Nick came closer. "Downtown." He whispered into my ear. Too much like Nico. I widened my eyes and was about to speak but he put a finger to his lips. I mouthed Nico's name to him, and he nodded. Suddenly the atmosphere became tenser than I liked when with dad.

"Leo's got to be far though. If he was close, I'd be able to find him easily with whatever we've both got now." Nick nodded solemnly. I was trying to keep the conversation going, despite what just happened.

"How are you with that? Anything?" I nodded slightly. "Who?"

"Piper," I answered. Yes, it's true – I've got some charm speak. I didn't realise at first what I did but thankfully it worked. "And – and hers," I said softer than before. My dad's eyes went warmer and sadder, as though he was thinking of a good memory.

I remember when she told me all those facts about the buildings and places we visited. I'd never fully listened to her words, but I loved when she did it. Annabeth would speak constantly, and I would just smile at her.

Nick put a hand on my shoulder. I didn't realise I was crying silently until he brought me out of my thoughts. His eyes were understanding and similar to mine.

"I miss her too." He said. Nick locked eyes with me. "And I know you haven't had time to process it. neither of us has. We'll talk properly soon, I promise." My head nodded. More tears welled up in my eyes, but I rubbed them dry, then used some demigod powers to rid myself of the water.

"Do you swear it?" I asked innocently. He huffed out a breath and chuckled, still lowly from our previous thoughts.

"I swear it on the River Styx," Nick said honestly. Thunder rumbled above but no storm brewed. Mortals don't usually make oaths as sacred as that and Zeus is a drama queen. I rolled my eyes at the sky and made sure my face wasn't red. "Right, can Banner do a check-up while I go?" I pursed my lips. "Please?" A slight laugh escaped my lips due to his begging.

"I can't promise to make it easy, but sure."

I'm so tired. And it's fucking cold in my bedroom.

I'm on call to my mates and we're all singing Fall out boy. What's your favourite song by them? My top 3 are Cemeteries, Thnk fr th Mmrs & the Pheonix.

Also, I haven't eaten a proper meal in 3-4 days and I'm starving
