Wow, I really need to remember updating. And maybe name these chapters beforehand too.

Steve:

I get an early call from Nick Fury when I reach my apartment.

"Rogers, listen up," Fury says as soon as I pick up the call.

"What's the problem?" I ask.

"The avengers must move into Stark Tower until further notice. No exceptions. Inform the others immediately."

"Why Fury?" I demand to know. He sighs.

"I can't say right now. Just tell them I won't be able to call or contact for a while. There's a spy at SHIELD with the alias Downtown. It's not safe to trust anyone except the avengers and Percy." He hangs up after that.

I open my door and begin packing my stuff.

Percy:

I feel tired. I could sleep on this seat right here and now, but the avengers have just arrived with all their stuff. They said they were given orders to move in by Nick but wouldn't reveal why.

I put my head on my arms which are crossed on the table in front and close my eyes. the avengers are having a meeting in the lounge so I'm waiting until they're finished. I take deep breaths, focusing on the world around me. I looked at the mugs, I remembered Frank showing me those videos of cats which got stuck in mugs. They were tiny, small and only kittens. Such carefree animals.

Suddenly, my arms were smaller, I raised my head and looked at my body. I jumped back in surprise. I was a cat!

How is this possible?! This is Frank's powers! My mind screamed. I jumped down and hid by the bin in the hallway. The avengers came into the kitchen and called my name. Steve checked my room with Wanda while Tony and Natasha looked around for me. Clint went down the hall and straight past me, then came back with no news. They asked Jarvis where I was, but he had no idea. I went through an open door where nobody was and tried to shift back. How did Frank do this?

I remembered my human self, how I looked, how I felt. When I opened my eyes, I was me again. I took a long breath of relief before the drowsiness took its toll.

I sluggishly made my way to the kitchen where everyone called my name at once.

"Woah, my ears!" I winced at the sudden noise.

"Sorry, but where did you go?" Wanda asked. I pointed down the hall to the bathroom and heard a collective oh sounds.

"Why aren't you resting?" Natasha scolds, aiming a look at Tony.

"Not tired." I lied. She gave me a look meaning she knew I was lying, but I ignored her. I kept thinking about what just happened. I went back to my seat, putting my arms down like last time and resting my chin on them. Steve began cooking while Tony and Wanda went to the lounge with Clint to play video games.

"Not tired, eh?" Natasha teases. I bury my chin further down. She gave me a look of sympathy and pity which I didn't mind. "Why don't you get some sleep before dinner?" my eyes shoot scared for a moment before dismissing it.

"No thanks." I pass off. Steve glances back at us, his eyes look worried. "Guys, I'm fine. And I really don't want to sleep right now."

"Too awake or too scared?" Steve asks suddenly. I furrow my brows in confusion.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I question, not understanding.

"What do you think it means? Are you too awake to sleep or too scared to sleep?" He clarifies. I see Natasha give me a look while waiting.
