I went on a school trip to London yesterday and was having major panic attacks the whole day before. I'm exhausted and slept until 1:42 pm today. It's the last day of term so I stayed home.

Also, thank you for 19K reads and all the comments and votes.

Percy:

The next morning, I was feeling awful. Sleep-deprived and a face full of pain. my ribs were mostly healed but ached, face remained bruised and legs sore. I threw on some ripped blue jeans, an old camp shirt and a black leather jacket. I wore my ring, necklace with beads of mine and Annabeth's years of survival on it. in my pocket was Riptide, the other had my phone. I had iPhone branded earphones hanging around my neck which were plugged into my phone. It was early but still time to leave, nearly at least. I went out of my room and was instantly met with the sight of Steve and Clint.

I try and bolt, but Steve picks me up by my arms and sets me down on a chair. He gives me a warm look but there was something hard about it. a mini plate of cut-up apple slices was set in front of me on the table.

"Eat, then you can leave," Clint said gently. I slowly took some bites. Clint and Steve were doing their own things, reading through emails or reading a recipe book. I got through half the apple, then began feeling sick. Suddenly I turned to my side and threw up in the bin beside me. Steve called for Bruce while Clint checked on me. Bruce ran in and handed me a wet cloth.

My head spun for a moment. Bruce watched me warily. "It's okay. Small steps," I didn't respond. Again, he stared at me, as though waiting to see how I react. "Are you alright?"

"Can I go?" I asked grumpily. His eyes rested, unmoving.

"Yeah, go on." Clint approved. I made my way downstairs to the lobby where Happy had just arrived with the car, Peter inside like always. I got in and put on a masked face to hide my annoyed mood. Peter wasn't one to notice these things, so he talked to me like usual.

Time skip to school

The bell rung for lunch. I walked around outside alone until I spotted her. Clarisse was sitting alone listening to music, her eyes fixed on her book. Peter was not too far, eying me and shaking his head vigorously. I made my classic lopsided grin and stalked towards her. I crept up behind her and replaced her bag with my own. Then I ducked behind a bush. A few moments later she went to get out a pen and took out Riptide, then gasped. Clarisse looked all around; her mouth opens slightly.

"Riptide?" she said softly, questioning it slightly. She considered opening it but saw some school kids not too far from her and stood to look around. Her eyes then realised her bag was replaced with my own. Her hands rummaged through it and found some photos, my phone and a bottle of water.

There was a photo of Annabeth, Grover and I that she held. Then another from the end of her quest I intruded on where Chiron made us pose for completing such a feat.

Clarisse snorted. "You still have these Prissy?" she said, baffled but looking at them in awe. "so young we were. Not a clue, right?" I knew she was drawing me out. I smiled behind my bush.

"We weren't ready for that," I said, finally coming out of the bush. Her eyes widened at the sight of me. then she hugged me shortly, relaxing in our embrace for than me. "Stressed much?" her laugh was strained.

"It's not been easy." Her eyes flashed red. "Why didn't you tell me?!" my arm was punched. I faked overdramatic pain.

"I'm wounded!" I cried out. She laughed again, looser than before. "It was a surprise. Besides I only found out you went here last night." I took back Riptide and handed Clarisse her bag back. she picked up the photo of the Golden Fleece quest. "We look happy."

"And alive," Clarisse added. "Especially her." she pointed out my wise girl. I nodded a little. Peter eyed me from afar, his friends with as wide eyes as the rest of the school. I realised nobody had ever had a proper friendly chat with Clarisse at this school before. The bell rung for the next lesson.

"I should go. I'll see you later?" I said to Clarisse. She agreed and handed me the photo back. "No, you keep it,"

"Seriously? No way!" she protested. I insisted and we parted our ways to lesson.

Mmk, that was short. I've seen the next one (since they're all prewritten) and found it's rather long.

I'm high on caffeine to not fall asleep again. Once again, thank you for all the support.
