I'm this Barbra will be alive and her and Nancy are in the same grade as you. In this imagines story neither Nancy or Barbra went to the upside down and have no idea what it is.

You have lived in Hawkins your whole life. You are in the tenth grade and you have begun to develop feelings for a girl in your class.You don't quit know what her name is because the teachers call her Jane. But her friends cal her Eleven and El. For short. What you call her when your thinking about her is yours.
It was the middle of sixth period and you were staring at El. and you were thinking about her. You can't really recall what you were thinking about her but you knew you were thinking about her. You were so focused on El. You didn't notice the teacher call on you. You came back to reality when you felt everyone staring at you. You quickly looked around the classroom and while you were doing so something flickered and it was like you were in a dark place you most definitely did not want to be in. You saw someone start to walk towards you but then you were suddenly back in the classroom.
"Is everything alright miss y/l/n?" Your teacher asked as you were trying to process what you just saw
"Y-yeah I need to go the restroom really quick." You say feeling confused still not quite sure were you had been
"Ok come back to class once you've gathered yourself together." Your teacher said continuing the lesson as you quickly but quietly walked out of the classroom
'What the hell was that?!' You think to yourself. You quickly get into a stall and lock it. You sit against the wall and try to figure out what had just happened. 'I couldn't have been in a different world, or..... could I?' You think to yourself remembering the mysterious disappearance of Will.
"Hey y/n are you in here?" You here a calming familiar voice say
"Yeah" you say quietly
"Are you on?" You here another soothing voice say
"I don't know" you reply calmly
"Can we talk?" The first voice asked you
" yea.............." you start to respond but you stand up and there is a big spot of blood in your jeans
"What's wrong?" The second voice asked
" I......I think I started my period." You say still trying to process what you had seen earlier and now this
"I'll be back I think I have some pads in my locker." The seconds voice said walking out of the bathroom
"Can you open the door?" The first voice asked so you stood up and opened the door
"Yikes that's a heavy first flow" Barbra said seeing the big spit of dark red blood on your jeans
"Do you have an extra sweater?" You ask looking down in embarrassment
"Yeah here." Barbra said taking the jacket from her waist and handing it to you
"So what's the real reason you came in the bathroom?" Barbra asked as you tied the jacket around your waist
"I saw something. Not like I saw the front board or anything like that but, something weird or out of this world." You say
"You know I think I overheard your crush and her friends talking about the Byers kid seeing something like that." She said
"Maybe I could talk to him. But how would I he's always around his friends I wouldn't be able to ask him alone." You say hearing Nancy walk into the bathroom
"Here you go." Nancy said as she handed you the pad and you closed the door
"Thanks Nancy your a life saver." You say opening the door we hen your done
"So what you were saying earlier, you might just have to go up and ask him for a word alone." Barbra suggests, "I'll explain later," she says almost like she read Nancy's mind
"Ok I'll see you guys later." You say as the last bell of the day rings dismissing everyone from school
"Ok see you later" Barbra says following behind you out the bathroom door
You went to your last class grab your stuff quickly go to your locker. You cram your stuff in your bag, slam your locker door closed and take off down the hall to the front of the school. You exit the school and look around to see if Will has left yet. You sigh of relief when you see him and their group unlocking their bikes. You walk over and everyone stood and stares at you as you walked towards them considering you would be the closest to popular person that would actually talk to them. They all stared and you saw Lucas and Dustin shoving each other to be the first you saw.
"Hey Will can I talk to alone for a minute?" You ask feeling awkward with everyone staring at you with Dustin finally in front of Lucas.
"Yeah sure." Will said walking towards you
"I need to tell you something that no one other than you will understand." You say as the two of you walk to a tree next to the school.
"What is it?" Will says after you leaned against the tree seeing Will's friends staring at you
"I........I think I saw were you were trapped." You say lowering your voice so no one would here you
"W-what, that's impossible we closed the gate a few years ago." Will said pacing back in forth
"What gate? Will I don't even know were I was." You say putting your hand on his shoulder so he'll stop pacing back and forth
"Describe to me what you saw." Will said as you saw his friends dying because they saw you put your hand on his shoulder
"It was dark and cold and there were dead vines everywhere. I was still in the school but no one was there. I saw someone coming towards me but I couldn't move." You say
" Oh no you went to the upside down." Will says panicking again
"What the hell is the upside down!" You say louder because everyone had left except will's friends
"Don't panic." Will said trying to calm you down
"I'm gonna panic when you mention something called the upside down!" You say and noticing that you might of said it a little to loud based if the fact that will's friends were now running to you too
"Why did you tell her about the upside down!" Mike exclaimed
"I didn't!" Will said
"So than how the hell does she know about it?" Lucas asked
"Because she......." You quickly cut Will off
"Can someone explain to me what the hell this upside down is!" You say before anyone can say another word
"No why should we?" El.asked
"No trust me she needs to know. El. she's one of us."Will said making everyone but El. Confused
"You mean" El. Started to say in shock
"Yeah hand me a pencil." Will said reaching out his hand
"What are you doing?" You ask
"Just relax and say tell me when to stop." He said
"O.......DUDE WHAT THE FUCK STOP!" You explain after Will had stabbed his hand leaving a deep cut on his hand leaving El. Wincing in pain
"Sorry but you see now El.? She's one of us.Will said
