Period | Mike Wheeler

You woke up to your parents fighting again. At this point you were used to it so you just shrugged and started to get ready for school. You got dressed you brushed your teeth and snuck downstairs with you backpack. You quietly unlocked the door and slipped out trying to not get your parents attention. You started walking as you got the worst cramp of your life. You decided to ignore it and kept walking. You walked past a group of teenagers who looked like they were in high school they started pointing at you and laughing. You looked down and there was a huge red spot on your blue jeans.
"God dammit not today." You whispered to yourself
You ran as fast as you could and you ended up at your friends back door. You knocked hoping he would answer.
"Hey y/n what's up?" He asked
"I...I....can I talk to Nancy?" You asked
"Uhm...sure? Is everything ok?" He asked
"No Mike nothing's ok! Just get your sister!" You practically yelled
"Ok ok I'll get her." He said letting you in as he went upstairs to get his sister
You stood there and paced for a bit.
"Hey what's wro.... oh uhm follow me." Nancy said leading you upstairs
"So what's wrong?" Mike asked as you came out of the basement
"None of your damn business." Nancy said continuing to walk to her room
Nancy lead you to the bathroom and handed you a box of pads and a pair of underwear, sweatpants and a t-shirt. You changed quickly and left the bathroom.
"Thank you so much Nancy." You said
"No problem and you can stay in my room all day. By the looks of it your in a  lot of pain." She said
"Thank you. I really don't know what I would have done." You said hugging her
"It's no big deal. By the way there's a heating pad under my bed." She said letting go
"Ok. I'll see you later." You said as Nancy went to go down the stairs
"You too." She said walking down stairs
You went to walk to Nancy's room as someone spun you around.
"Can you please tell me what's wrong?" Mike asked
"I don't want to talk-ow-about it." You said trying to hide your pain
"I know somethings wrong please tell me I don't like seeing you in pain." He said hugging you
"I...I started my period today." You stuttered
"Hey it's nothing to be embarrassed about I'll stay here with you. We can chill, eat chocolate, and watch movies all day. It'll be fun." He said looking you in the eyes
For a moment all the pain went away as you got lost in his eyes for a second
"Ok." You said
"We'll wait I'm my room till my parents leave." Mike said holding your hand
"Ok" you said quietly
The two of you walked into his room. He sat down on his bed and waited for you. But you walked over to his closet.
"What are you doing now?" He asked
"I'm stealing one of your hoodies." You replied
"Really?" he asked
"Yes really." You said grabbing the one he wore the most
"Not that one!" He whined
"Well to late." You said putting it on
"Your gonna be home all day might as well get into comfy clothes." You said walking over to Mike
"Ok." He said going to his dresser
"Stop looking you pervert!" He said
"I wasn't but ok." You said looking away
When Mike got changed he walked over to you and wrapped his arms and legs around you. You leaned into him.
Everyone in the party said that the two of you would make the cutest couple. You both always replied with you were just friends but truth was you wanted to be more than friends. It was times like this when the two of you cuddled when you really wanted to be more than friends.
"What are thinking about?" Mike asked
"Nothing." You lied
"Ok I think my parents just left. Do you want to go to the basement and watch a movie?" He asked
"Yeah." You said
Mike got up and before you could get up he had picked you up.
"Mike! Put me down!" You whined
"Your cute when you whine." He said walking to the door making you blush
" what?" You said
"You heard me." He said making his way to the basement
When the two of you got to the basement he put you on the couch and went to go get blankets. He sat next to you and pulled you close to him after he put in the movie. He piled blankets on top and around the two of you.
You didn't want to say anything but your bra was really starting to hurt you. You already had enough cramps your bra was just making it worse. You started shifting trying to get more comfortable.
"What is it ?" Mike asked sitting up and putting you in his lap
"It's nothing." You said
"No it's something. What's wrong?" He almost demanded
"Nothing." You said really not wanting to say anything
"Y/n y/l/n I've been your best friend long enough to know when somethings wrong. Tell me now or you don't get cuddles." He said
"It's nothing.... I just need to go to the bathroom." You said
"Nope that's not it. I can hear it in your voice." He said
"I really don't want to talk about it. I'm just gonna go to the bathroom." You said getting up
"Come on. You always tell me when you uncomfortable what's so different this time?" He asked
"It's nothing." You said
"Y/n we've been best friends for for ever you can tell me anything." He said
"No Mike! I said I don't want to talk about it!" You said running to the bathroom
You went into the bathroom and closed the door and locked it. You looked in the mirror.
"Maybe he won't notice." You whispered to your self
You took of his hoodie and Nancy's shirt. You took off your bra and sighed with relief. It never usually hurt that bad but for some reason today it was horrible.
"Y/n I'm sorry." Mike said
You quickly threw on his hoodie and put the shirt and your bra behind the toilet. You went and opened the door to see Mike.
"I'm sorry," he said
"It's ok." You said
The two of you went back to the couch and he went to cuddle you and stopped.
"Was it your bra?" He asked
"Mike." You whined uncomfortably
"Just saying I can tell." He said
"I know so I already said this but your adorable when you whine." He whispered in your ear
"Mike how can you tell. I mean like was that what you were looking for or something." You asked
"No. It's not that hard to know wether your wearing a bra or not while I'm cuddling you." He said
"Ok. Just checking." You said
"Why? Do you want me to?" He teased
"No.... hey don't do that!" You whined snacking his hand away from your thighs
"Why you know you want it." He teased
"Mike." You whined going red as he continued to rub your thighs
"Fine. But at least let me do this." He said turning you around and kissing you
You kissed back. It was your first kiss. It was passionate. It was filled with love.
Mike licked your lip asking for entrance you denied. He grabbed your bite and you gasped. He quickly stuck his tongue in your mouth. The two of you made out for a while as Mike's hands traveled up the hoodie. You winced has his cold hands touched your stomach.
Mike broke the kiss and looked at you in aw like it was the greatest kiss of his life.
"That was amazing." You sighed
"Your adorable." Mike said pulling you into his lap
"I know were just friends but could we maybe be more?" He asked
"Yes." You said as he put his arms around your lower area
"I love you." He whispered kissing your neck
"I love you two." You pretty much moaned
"Aww. That's cuter than the whining." He said making you go bright red
"S-shut up." You whined
"Ok I will for now puppy." He said

The rest of the day you two watched movies and kissed. You guys cuddled more than anything and Mike massaged your lower area which helped with cramps.
You guys ended up falling asleep in each other's arms.
