I want to protect you | Robin

It was a Sunday and you were out walking in the neighborhood trying to get away from your family. There was no reason you just found them rude, homophobic, and obnoxious. You knew that Max and Billy Hargrove had it worse. Anyways you are in high school. You are friends with Robin but that's it. You find yourself flooded with thoughts and without knowing you somehow end up in the woods. You never can come up with a reason why so this time you just walked until you came up to this little hut looking thing. You saw that it said Byers on it but that's all you could make out.
*byer's huh* you thought
Knowing that you were probably about to approach a house you turned around. You walked quietly and heard a branch snap. Then there was a long moment were you stood there listening to the crunch of leaves. You ignored it and walked until you found this circle in the woods that was filled with soft looking grass and surrounded by trees. You felt like a little kid as you ran to the middle. You kicked off your shoes and picked a few flowers that were scattered around the middle. You smiled as you laid in the grass.

ROBIN'S POV

"Look how happy she is." Steve said as I continued to look at y/n
"She's so beautiful." I whispered
"Sounds like someone has a crush."Steve teased
"Yeah." I said rubbing your arm
"Why don't you......" Steve started but took off running
I looked up and saw that Billy and his gang were walking over to y/n. I instantly knew what Steve was doing. I started running to y/n. Steve started distracting Billy as I got to y/n.
"Come on." I said grabbing y/n hand
"What?" Y/n asked
"Come on if you want to live." I said as she got up and stared running with me
We ran out of the woods as Steve started after us.
"Now can you please tell me what the hell just happened?" Y/n asked

YOUR POV

"Billy has been after you since the day you arrived at our school." Steve started
"And today was the day he planned to finally get you alone." Robin finished
I didn't realize but I had zoned out and was staring at Robin
"Y/n?" Steve said
"Hmm oh sorry. Uhm thanks for saving me but uh I gotta go." I said getting up
"Ahh!" I yelled as I tripped
"Hey there." Robin teased seeing how embarrassed I was because of how we landed
"I'm uhm I'm sorry. Uhm. I. I gotta go." I said running out of scoops
What the fuck is wrong with me? You asked yourself
"Hey y/n would you maybe want to go out sometime?" Robin Asked running after you
"Uhm Robin I'm...." I was going to say I was straight but she kissed me
"Questioning my sexuality." I said as she broke the kiss
"See you Friday night at 7:09." Robin said walking away

NO ONE'S POV
Skip to Friday

You walked into school minding your own business and walked quietly listening to music to your locker.
"Hey baby." Steve said putting a hand on the locker next to me
"Uhm Steve..hey babe how are you?" You said quickly realizing that Billy was walking past you
"Thanks." You said awkwardly realizing almost everyone in the hallway had seen what just happened
"No problem, mind if we hang out until Robin gets here?" Steve said
"I don't mind." You said closing you locker
"So how long have you liked Robin?" Steve asked as the two of you were alone in the library
"Now that I look at it I've liked her since 9th grade and just haven't known." You said leaning against the fence
"So what's you sexuality?" Steve asked leaning next to you
"I thought I was straight so I'm not really sure." You said
"So do you like guys?" He asked
"Yeah I find them attractive." You said
"Would you mind dating someone that was non-binary or gender fluid?" He asked
"No I'd be terrified of calling them the wrong pronoun." You said making it clear you don't have anything against them
"So you like girls?" Steve said
"Yes." You said
"So than your probably bisexual." Steve said
"Oh. So what's Robin?" You asked
"She's lesbian." Steve said
"Hey y/n." Billy said walking up to you
"Uh... hi." You said quietly
"So I was wondering if you maybe wanted to ditch this......." Billy was cut off
"No she wouldn't come on you two." Robin said grabbing you and Steve who looked like he was about to kill Billy
"Uhm....sorry." You said awkwardly
"It's no problem. I want to protect you." Robin said letting go of Steve and wrapping her arms around you pulling you into a deep passionate kiss.
