You were getting ready for school when your mom turned on the news.
"Hawkins Elementary, Hawkins Middle, and Hawkins High, will not be in function until may 4th due to the corona virus." The anchor man said
"Did you hear that y/n?" Your mom called
"Yes ma'm." You said just a little disappointed
"I'm on my way to work. I'll see you later." Your mom said walking out the door
"What the hell am I supposed to do?" You asked yourself
"Hang out with me." Dustin said entering your room
"How the hell did you get in here?" You asked startled
"The back door was unlocked. So schools cancelled wanna hang out?" Dustin asked
"Yeah, sure." You replied
"Perfect. So, what do you wanna do?" He asked
"We could go to the mall." You suggested
"Ok. Let's go." He said walking out of your room
The two of you walked to the bus stop and waited. You were the only two there. It was awkward. You couldn't resist the urge so you reached out and grabbed his hand. He held your hand back. It felt natural. I mean it wasn't but it felt natural.
"It's 9:30! The bus was supposed to be here 30 minutes ago." Dustin groaned
"Hey well just go hangout somewhere closer." You said moving your thumb up and down his hand
"Ok. Uhm, what about the abandoned bus in the junkyard?" Dustin asked
"Sure." You said

When the two arrived they sat and talked about who know what. The bus was soon filled with giggles. His laughs to you were just adorable.
You had never thought of Dustin in a way more than friends until now. And little did you know he did too.
You got lost into his eyes and he got lost in your eyes. Before you both knew it you were both leaning into a kiss. Your lips touched his and it was as if fireworks had just went off.
Yes with the virus going around this probably wasn't the best time to do this but it felt right.

I know it short but it's an update. Sorry I haven't been updating this story. I was working on a sandlot fanfic which is now out, I suggest you go check it out. Also I am currently working on a Spot Conlon X reader story (newsies) and I was wondering how many of you would read it, or both of them for that matter.
