Olivia's POV:

"If Jackson doesn't know what he's doing then he probably doesn't know that someone's controlling him," I say as I shut off the light in my room, holding the phone against my ear.

"Or he doesn't remember." I hear Scott say in the background.

"What if it's the same kind of thing that happened with Lydia when she took off from the hospital?" Stiles says.

I furrow my eyebrows. "Lydia was in the hospital?"

"A day before you came, she was running naked in the woods but she didn't anything except when my dad and I found her."

I pull the covers over my body. "Like a fugue state."

"He would've had to forget everything. The murder, getting rid of the blood," Scott trails off.

"But he had help with one thing, the video. The person controlling him helped him forget that." Stiles interrupts.

"Are you sure Jackson has no clue about any of this?" I ask, turning to my side.

He scoffs. "He thinks he's still becoming a werewolf and that being with Lydia somehow delayed the whole thing."

"Do we even try to convince him he's not?"

"If it helps us find out who's controlling him, then yeah," Scott says.

"Do you think he'll talk to us after what we did?" I ask, unsure of their plan actually working.

"Yeah it's us, he'll talk to us...right?" He says, attempting to whisper the last part but fails miserably.

"I should go or my mom will get pissed off that I'm staying up." I yawn. "Let me know how it turns out."

"Will do."

I walk inside the library and eye the cameras sneakily, knowing that Gerard was keeping an eye on me since I hung out with Scott more.

I walk to the rows of shelves and see Allison standing in the spot I was supposed to meet the boys.

Great. Either Scott or Stiles told her to meet up with us.

I casually walk up to the shelf and push some books aside to leave a gap. I pull my tablet out of my bag and slide it through where Scott could grab it.

"It's everything Lydia could translate," I whisper, grabbing a random book on the shelf to act like I was reading it. "Trust me, she was very confused."

"What did you tell her?" Scott asks as he read the translations.

"That we were a part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures," I say, causing Scott to chuckle.

"I am part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures." Stiles confidently says, making all of us look at him in confusion.

"Oh...Great?" Allison questions and he nods with a smile.

"Okay, does it say how to find out who's controlling him?" Scott asks, zooming in on the translations.

"Not really, but Stiles was right about the murderers," I explain and see Stiles pumping his fist in the air with a grin. "It calls the Kanima a weapon of vengeance. There's a story in there about this South American priest who uses the Kanima to execute murderers in his village but--."

"So it's not all bad then," Allison says with a small smile.

"No." I scoff. "The bond grew strong enough that it killed whoever he wanted it to."
