seventeen one-shots

Mingyu

"Mingyuuu!!" You called out, going in his room and laying down on his bed. You looked around, empty desk, his phone was on the bedside table, and of course his bed was occupied by you.

He isn't in his room either. You sighed. Grabbing his phone and turning it on. The first thing you saw was 3 new messages from Wonwoo. You opened the notification and this showed up,

Well he isn't hanging out with Wonwoo either. You chuckled, the message replaying in your head while placing his phone back. Silly Wonwoo.

You played with your fingers, thinking of where that puppy would be. You searched the whole house. He was no where to be found. He couldn't have gone far, he left his wallet here.

"Maybe in the practice room?"

"Nah he left his bag here."

"Fast food restaurant?"

"Wallet's here."

"Maybe the bathroom." You heard a male voice say, entering the room.

You sat up, surprised at the sudden voice. It was Mingyu, his hair was wet and his shirt and pants were wet as well. Of course he was taking a shower.

"Well. I don't exactly go barging in people's bathrooms while they shower. That's just rude." You said, crossing your arms at him as he dries his hair with a towel. "Whatever you say love." He said, shaking his head like a puppy.

Speaking of which, "Gyu! I got a question and you have to answer honestly." You said, looking up at him as he places his towel away. "Uhh sure?" He replied, sitting down beside you.

"What would you do if I said I wanted a puppy." You started off. Mingyu raised an eyebrow. "A puppy? We already have Aji." He said. You chuckled at him, "Aji isn't really fond of you, is she?" You said, smirking.

He chuckled as well, replying, "You have a point."

"But what about me?" He said, pointing at himself, "I'm the only puppy you'll ever need!" He added.

"True.." You squinted your eyes at him. "But I want an actual puppy." You stated, hearing a soft whine from him but you didn't let him stop you from getting a puppy.

It took a lot of convincing but you finally got him to go to the pet store to get a puppy! You couldn't even hold your excitement in the car; you kept damcing to Snap Shoot on the way there.

"Calm down or else we won't even live to see the puppy." Mingyu laughed, parking the car. You didn't stop showing how excited you were and Mingyu couldn't really do anything about it.

Once you two entered the shop, you nearly squeezed Mingyu to death as you saw the puppies there. You felt bad knowing that you only need to take one; you wanted to take all of them home but Mingyu would *probably* be mad.

"Who should we take home?" You asked Mingyu. He shrugged, "You wanted to take one home. You pick." He said. He was obviously sulking. You pinched his cheeks, "Aigoo! My little puppy is jealous!" You said.

"I'm not—!" He pouted, pushing your hands away. You chuckled and let him go, turning around to look for a puppy.

Mingyu's POV

"This is gonna be your new home!" I heard (Y/n) squeal as she takes our new puppy inside the house. Five minutes ago, I was actually happy about having a puppy but now I just feel replaced.

I walked inside, holding a bag filled with the puppy's things: food, bowls, clothes, brushes, name it. I placed it down on the sofa and saw (Y/n) rubbing the puppy's belly.

I pouted and sat beside her, "(Y/n)~" I sang, leaning my head on her shoulder. She hummed back as a reply and continued to play with the puppy. I watched them go back and forth, from the kitchen to the living room to the backyard.

I tried to get her attention but she would say something like,

"In a second."

"He's so cute when he's running!"

"He adjusted pretty quickly huh?"

It was always about the dog.

I sighed and laid down on the bed. Maybe getting a puppy isn't a good idea after all..

Your POV

You carried your puppy as you looked for Mingyu again. He really likes hiding huh? You thought, walking up the stairs and checking every room.

You didn't check the bathroom this time because the door was left open. Obviously no one was in there. You walked to Mingyu's room and entered, finding him laying down on the bed and groaning.

"Gyu?" You said, the puppy barked at his name. Mingyu looked up at you and sighed, "What do you want?"

"Look." You placed the puppy down and let him roam his room. You sat down beside him and continued your sentence, "I know I've been ignoring you the whole day and I really am sorry." You said.

Mingyu looked at you, "You're just fond of the puppy, I understand." He said. You didn't know if he was still mad or not but you didn't want to find out.

You laid down beside him and looked at his eyes, "Really?" You asked him. He pursed his lips into a thin line and finally admitted, "Okay fine. I'm still jealous."

"Gyu.." Your hands reached up to his face and pinched his cheeks again like how you did just this morning. "You're really adorable when you're jealous you know that?" You said, letting go of his cheeks.

"Ow.." He pouted, holding his cheeks. "But for real though, I really am sorry." You repeated.

"I forgive you. Just don't forget that there are two puppies in the house." He said, shaking his head and letting his hair mess up like how an actually puppy does.

"Okay okay." You said and fixed his hair again.

You two stared at each other for a while. Mingyu started to pull you in for a kiss. You two closed your eyes as your lips started to come closer—

"WOOF!!"

Your puppy jumps onto the bed and licks both of you two's faces. Mingyu sat up and wiped his face. You just laughed at him as the puppy was looking up at him, the front paws were on Mingyu's thigh.

"C'mere you little rascal!" Mingyu laughed, carryig the puppy and playing with it in his arms.

Maybe getting a puppy isn't actually that bad.
