A human's worst enemy is time.
Wrinkles appear on our skin, bones start shaking, hair whitening and falling out.
We watch as the world around us speeds up and leaves us behind.
We become a memory despite our hearts still beating, existing among the young people around us, a flashback of what we used to be. Of what we used to look like.
A rock inside society's shoe, a thing they have to care for despite having no other value other than distant memories and weak smiles.
Until we finally wither away.
A flower in a vase of old water kept alive for so much time when it finally dies there is nothing better to do with it than to throw it away.
What a sad ending to such a beautifully started story.
Pathetic. Humans are weak.
You snarled looking up at the rising sun in the distance. It's rays already began touching your skin, stinging it like tiny needles, burning like a lit-up match.
What if we could forever stop this process?
To disappear from under society's gaze, mask that old wrinkled flower with an angelic like beauty, sweet honey seeping from our tongue like venom, luring anybody who was weak enough to give in.
A metallic spice carrased the roof of your mouth making a small grin paint itself across your pale complexion.
But the real question is.
Would you still be human?
Bathing in society's blood, long nails scratching the surface of our skin as it's fresh healthy pigment drained away leaving only a pure white complexion.
Our eyes drenched in deep crimson that stained our pearl teeth, running down the sharp canines and dripping to our blueish lips.
You can't have a sad ending to a never-ending story.
Welcome to this train wreck. I hope I can make this a book you will enjoy.
