"Ah yes, important matters," Clare says folding her arms before directing her sharp gaze to the stoic male. "Owl, you were not far behind us once we entered into the mountain. Why did you come so much later than us?"

The man scrambles around uncomfortably. "I got lost."

A loud snore came out at the same time from Whine Clare and Eunice, all three females clasping their hands over their mouths.

"Hey! Don't make fun of me! This place is like a freaking maze!"

"He went the wrong hallway!" Whine wheeze out between laughs as tears streamed down her face.

"How was I supposed to know?! I've been here only like 3 times." The vampire tried defending himself.

"10 times! 10! You've been here 10 times already, Owl." Clare snored. "Your sense of direction is almost as poor as your memory."

The male with littered in moles face huffed in annoyance and took a puff of the cigarette, serious stoic actions contrasting with his childlike reasoning.

Taby cleared their throat and as if on command all the laughing stopped. The vampires even smallest spark of annoyance was able to make all the other old creatures straighten in their seats, to say the least Noah found it quite intriguing.

"I'm talking about the real serious matters. You have to understand that what happened a few days ago can have staggering consequences." Taby stated, bright red eyes scanning over the room.

"In all respect Eldest, why would this be such a big deal anyway? Those vampires just might be some runaway lost ones with an elder who didn't care for them, we kill them and that's the end of it." The old-looking vampire grumbled.

"They will multiply," Eldest replied. "If the elder is still conscious and seeks destruction this can spiral out of control."

"How do we know they seek destruction?" Whine asked with a raised eyebrow.

"And how do you know they don't? Leaving the people they turned so carelessly, letting them roam around like that."

"Maybe they are also lost and unable to control themselves," Otto stated, fiddling with his pearl earring.

"Maybe," Taby answered glancing up at the young vampire. "But that still means destruction, we need to put an end to this. Even if that means mass murder, there's no going back for those who lost themselves and gave in to desire"

At those words, everyone nodded. Noah shifted in his seat uncomfortably.

"Noah." Eldest called out making the teen perk up in his seat."Can you tell us what you saw? How did they act?"

The half-vampire put his sweaty palms together under the table and exhaled heavily "They acted like animals...completley different from you guys. They clawed onto furniture and walls, screamed and sort...of cried... It was like they completely lost control of their bodies. They had these big purely red eyes and some had white fur in a few spots as if it grew out of their skin." Noah shivered. "Sharp long teeth, claws and mostly walked on all fours, it was...terryfying to see..."

The vampires glanced around at each other before Taby let out a long sigh filled with disappointment "They're already too far gone."

Diety clicked her that tongue in frustration "Did...did any of you guys do this?" All eyes immediately directed to her. "-I'm just saying that...i will understand if you got too hungry or lost control-"

"None of us did this, Diety" Clare cut her off. "Otto is too busy seducing anything that moves, Whine can't even tie her own shoes, Eunice feels guilty after stepping on a snail and I'm too tired to do that kind of shit." She glanced towards the male with the cigarette "That fucker is too depressed to even come to a meeting for once in his god damn life and they-" Clare pointed at you and fell silent.
