Beryl looked at you with narrowed eyes, his putrid lizard gaze darting between your stiff form and the unconscious human who was laying face first on the cold marble floor.
"Excuse my language but what the actual fuck?!" He uttered out, face already reddened in anger and frustration. "I always knew and expected that you were going to become someone's elder…BUT TONIGHT!??! Without any warning!?"
You crossed your arms and looked to the side. "Things got…complicated."
"Complicated?!" The male threw his hands in the air. "You actually turned someone into a vampire!! A vampire hunter at that! This is terrible and complicates things so much, I mean what is the Family going to think of it!??" He looked at you with an angry expression
"I needed him alive Beryl!" You snapped back. "There was a vampire or maybe even a group of them that killed his entire family, I saw the bite marks with my own eyes! They tore apart some of the bodies like wild animals, blood was everywhere."
"One individual vampire or a group that killed a whole family in one night…that's…that's ridiculous who in the right mind would do this?"
You looked down at your hands with a conflicted expression. "We may have a traitor in the Family…or it's someone from the outside…eighter way the best thing we can do is to inform the others and gather a meeting." You looked up at Beryl. "Than we can figure out the rest."
Beryl pinched the bridge of his nose, his tense shoulders slumping a little as he exhaled loudly. "I'm deeply sorry, I lost my composure… It's just that things like this have never happened, I'm truly baffled by all of this…"
Before you could reply a series of deep coughs filled the large room as the male on the ground began wiggling and kicking his legs, shaded groans leaving his mouth. He raised his gaze up at the both of you, the male's eyes widening in shock as soon as he took notice of your and Beryl's features.
"W-What…" his voice wavered, he tried to stand up but was immediately pulled down by the shackles that kept him chained to the floor. "What a-are these!? Who are you??" Another fit of coughs tore through his mouth as the boy hunched over.
"Beryl." You called grabbing the lizard man's attention. "Go get him a glass of water."
With that, the blue-haired male was out the door and you proceed to kneel down inform of the young human.
As the red-haired boy lifted his gaze he visibly flinched at the sight of your ruby orbs staring into his. After a short silence, his whispered groggily "Why…do I remember you…?"
Taking a deep breath you asked, "Do you remember what happened at your house?"
"What…?" His eyes narrowed for a second before widening in terror as all color drained from his face. "Oh my God… No. That was… a…dream wasn't it?"
Starting at the male with pity you didn't have the strength to lie to him, you shook your head slowly practically seeing how his heart sunk into the pit of his stomach.
He let out a few coughs and wheezes almost like he was choking before thick tears started to gather at the corners of his eyes, not taking even a second before rolling down his face.
"No no no...Samy, Laura…Mom, DAD!!" The boy started sobbing, his head hitting the marble floor as he broke down in front of you.
You tenderly placed your palm onto his hunched over back that jolted up and down in uncontrollable crys.
Beryl walked into the room with a glass of water in his hand and Salmo on his side, the two creatures looking a little uncomfortable at the sight of the weeping human.
