"Keep the shirt in your pants young man, and don't hunch over like that!" Isabelle nagged floating next to the sheepish male who tried his best to shove the white dress shirt into his pants.
"Y-Yeah I will make sure to keep it there." The orange-haired male stuttered looking up at the half-transparent lady.
"What are you looking at?" She grumbled back making him flinch.
He scratched his cheek a little "Sorry…It's just that it's not every day you see a ghost.."
"I haven't seen kids like you in a long time eighter, usually it's some type of depressed twenty-year-old that, that damn vampire brings here," Isabelle muttered, floating down more, her feet slightly skeeming the ground, tip of her shoe going through the floor.
The boy looked at the cleaning lady with fear in his eyes. "They bring humans here? For what?"
She raised her eyebrow "I think you know exactly for what."
The male let out a short heavy exhale as his face paled.
"Hey don't sulk like that, the damn giant never actually finishes drinking and they feel way too much remorse for everything they're doing." The cleaning lady sighed, trying to place her palm on the boy's shoulder only for it to go right through as the male shivered at the strange sensation.
"B-But does that mean that…i will have to drink blood?" The young human asked, voice bearly above a whisper.
Isabelle looked at him for a few long seconds a spark of pity setting across her features before she turned her head to the side. "Don't concern yourself with things like that, it's too early."
"B-But-"
"Just don't. I've seen what it does to others, keep your mind clear." She huffed back and flew forward leaving the male to speed up his pace in trying to keep up with her floating figure.
The young vampire hunter let his gaze skim over the large hall they were in, the giant windows were covered with long fancy curtains made out of thick material, letting in only thin lines of the crisp morning light.
The teenager stopped in his tracks and hesitantly walked over to one of the curtains, taking the fabric in his hand he moved it to the side letting the light slip through and carras his palm.
It was warm and delicate.
He smiled to himself before feeling a completely different sensation.
Something at the roof of his hand began to slightly sizzle, the sound accompanied by a small but sharp pain, like a twinge of several tiny needles.
He yanked his arm away immediately, making the fabric fall back into its place. The teen looked at his hand in panic but to his great relief and confusion, there was no damage.
"HEY! Don't stay behind! Without me, you won't even find the exit to this place!" Isabelle yelled from across the hall as the boy shoved his hand into his pants pocket and hurried over to her.
"Y-Yeah sorry about that!"
The older woman finally stopped at a giant wooden door, folding her arms she looked down at the young man. "Well, here we are. They are inside."
The redhead gulped, staring with uncertainty at the fancy designed entry.
"Hey don't be scared young man, they won't do anything bad to you, and if they do I will be sure to take revenge." She flexed the muscles of her right arm and patted them with her left hand, a proud expression playing on her features.
