Crow's POV-

I laid back on the table as Victor readied more of his tools. I carefully cracked my knuckles ready for the operation on my ribs. Take a deep breath I instructed myself. Harley hopped over the couch. "You ready?" She asked. I nodded. "Are ya sure?" She asked more excited yet concerned. I smiled and nodded again. "Okey dokie."

Victor raised my dress to reach my stomach, then wiped a swab on an area near my ribs and grabbed a needle. He carefully pushed the needle into my skin, making me feel a slight pinch. "This should make it less painful ok?" He explained. He grabbed a peculiar tool and started feeling my ribs making me wince. "Well..let's begin," he slapped on a pair of gloves and added pressure to my ribs. I let out a rush of air trying not to cry out.

I felt my ribs pop and crack as they moved. I whimpered more. I forcefully shut my eyes closed waiting for it to end soon. A cold, smooth object went on my stomach, then a gel like covering went all over my stomach. I opened my eyes and saw a type of healing ointment that soaks in on my stomach. Nothing too bad..yet. I shut my eyes again and felt another cold object go on my stomach. Then the pain began.

Victor was working on moving my ribs in place and attaching them now. I bit my lip and whimpered as I felt a burning sensation at my ribs. It was like fire running through my bones, all the heat and pressure, the sound of my ribs cracking as they moved. I let out a scream no longer being able to hold it in.

I heard a pair of feet run toward me, then someone holding my head. My eyes fluttered open as I bit my lip. It was Eddie. I whimpered and Eddie kissed my forehead. I bit my lip again. Having no choice, I cried out again as Victor popped my ribs in place. "Freeze do something for the pain!" Eddie barked.

"If she still cries out or shows signs of more pain I'll give her laughing gas, she should be fine now," Victor explained rubbing my ribs. I breathed heavily, quivering slightly from the burning. No laughing gas, no nothing, I'm fine. Eddie must of noticed me shaking because he held me a little closer to him. It feels comforting, but I need Jonathan.

"Thank you," I whispered. Eddie gave me a small smile. I felt a need to cough, I pointed to my mouth and Victor gave me a napkin. I coughed loudly, as I pulled away from the napkin dark splotches were visible. Blood.

"Laughing gas, now," Victor ordered himself.

     "Why?"

"He needs to make sure the bleeding isn't from the ribs, the pain will be too much if he checks when you're conscious," Eddie explained.

"I don't need it," I said as sternly as I could. Before I could say anything else, Victor put a mask on me and everything faded to black..

2 Weeks Later~~~~

I looked at the scattered sheets of paper on the desk. High tech improved technology for security huh? Just to keep me away from my Master Of Fear? I slammed my fist down on my desk and collapsed in my chair. "Jonathan.." I sighed. No contact with him, no one has had contact with him, nothing. Kill yourself, might as well do it now, you're never getting him back. "Shut up!!" I cried. Just do it now.. "Stop it!" You know the truth, he's gone.

"You're lying!! He's here, he's fine, he's just..he's just very confined!" Goner..he's gone..he's gone. Just die already. I covered my head and started shaking it violently. "Shut up!!" I shrieked. I whimpered as I curled my legs up, touching my bandage around my ribs. My mental breakdowns were never this bad before. What's happening to me...

I wiped my eyes and cleared my throat. Breathe... I tossed my hair around to fix it and looked at all my papers. Arkham decided to fix their security problem that they had with extreme patients such as Jonathan, Joker, Harley, you name it. Eddie made a recent attempt and came back with no one. No Jonathan. Jonathan is a very intelligent man, is he planning to get out on his own or is he just rotting away? He's gone.
