"I think maybe you found something else that you've become obsessed with." Kandi joked as we moved through the mall, now carrying at least ten bags each and I would like to say it's all stuff I brought for my child — which I don't know the gender of just yet— but in reality, it's a bunch of maternity clothes for myself and some things I knew I could use for the baby later no matter the gender.

"What? I want to spoil myself and my baby. Is that so wrong?"

"I guess not but don't go overboard now, Bili. You can't bring a baby into this world with bags and other things in the way, which is a safety hazard."

"I know what I'm doing okay. Shopping is fun, but I knew when to stop." As we neared a Victoria's Secret. "And I'll stop after we get some new bras out of here."

"You just brought ten maternity bras at that other store." Kandi complained, following after me.

"My feet hurt and I'm starving." I grumbled as we walked out of Victoria's Secret. Now both holding twelve bags in our hands and I'm sure she was just as tired as I am.

"Same here." Kandi muttered slowly walking beside me. "Did you want to eat in here or did you want to order something when we got to your house?"

"I'm starving now and I'm sure my little edamame is starving as well." I looked down at my stomach and smiled graciously.

"Edamame?" She questioned. I glanced up at her and nodded.

"That's all I've been craving since I found out I was pregnant. They fed it to us at the rehab. I fell in love with and I blame it on baby." I explained with a giggle. Kandi smirked but didn't say anything about the name back to me, changing the subject to the food in the food court.

We quickly decided on where we were going and immediately made our move to the food court, not wanting to wait any longer. Kandi went and got our food while I found us a table, ignoring the stares I was getting in the meantime. As I sat down, my phone rang.

I found that weird, considering the fact that the only person who would call me is a mere twenty feet away from me and she wasn't on her phone. Who the hell could this be?

Shifting in my seat, I pulled out my phone and stared at the screen for a second, not recognizing the number, but something inside me told me to answer. I looked around for a couple of seconds before sliding over the button to answer, then put the phone to my ear.

Swallowing the saliva that built up in my mouth, I gulped back any negative thoughts, parting my lips finally. "Hello?" I answered.

Silence. There was no response, and I had the right mind to hang up. How dare someone call my phone and then not say anything when I answer. Rude.

But just as I went to pull the phone away from my ear, I heard the faintest sigh then my name. I blinked repeatedly. "Bili," they repeated, a bit louder.
