I opened my eyes.

I was lying on a bed.

Martinus wasn't with me.

THIS WAS JUST A DREAM?

I stood up quickly.

Suddenly someone opened the door. It was him.

Martinus: You woke up, huh? I brought some coffee.

We sat on the bed together.

Me: I don't drink coffee.

Martinus: Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't know.

Me: It's okay.

It was so awkward.
Like what the fuck is going to happen now?
That was just a kiss?

Martinus: Did you sleep well? I mean... we fell asleep outside and I brought you here.

Me: We slept together?

Martinus: Yeah. Why?

Me: I mean... I'm just kinda confused.

Martinus: It's fine Y/N.

Me: No it's not. We're gonna pretend like nothing happened?

Martinus: Nope.

Me: Ugh come on. We need to talk about this, don't you think?

He kissed my lips.

Me: So now we-

Martinus: We're a couple.

Me: I can't tell my parents.

Martinus: I told mine. They're totally okay with this.

Me: Oh god... My dad is gonna be furious.

Martinus: Don't say that.

Me: So... You're gonna come to the school dance with me as my boyfriend, right?

Martinus: Yes.

Me: We won't tell anyone that we're a couple. Maybe they'll tell my parents. But anyway I'll tell them one day.

He didn't talk.

Me: What happened?

Martinus: Are you ashamed of me? I mean... Because I'm just an ordinary boy. I'm not rich like you.

Me: You know I fell for who you are. I'd even move to another country, live alone in a house just to be with you.

He smirked.

Martinus: We both know you wouldn't do this. So don't promise.

Me: Martinus I-

Martinus: I know you're not kidding. But it's not easy to leave your family, your home, your life, just for a boy.

I didn't know what to say.

Martinus: It's fine, Y/N. You're in love with me. But your parents will always be your parents. And their opinion about me will always affect us.

He stood up.

Martinus: We're leaving this afternoon. But come to have breakfast first.

I nodded.

Me: Alright.

His words made me feel so sad.

He was right, though.

This was the true.

The damn truth.

And I couldn't do anything for this.
