I was kinda nervous.

Me: Oh what is it?

He sat next to me and he started stroking my legs.

Leo: Do you remember the girl I'm working with? In my job.

Me: Yeah so what?

Leo: She invited both of us in her house.

Me: Um... I don't even know her.

Leo: I do. And I want her to meet the most important person in my life.

I didn't know what to say.

Leo: Will you come?

Me: Well... I'll think about it.

Leo: Alright. The meeting is tonight. Tell me what you're gonna do.

Me: Tonight? You kidding?

Leo: If you wanna come, stand up and start to get ready.

I sighed.

Leo: Pleaaase.

Me: Alright.

He held my hands.

Leo: I know our relationship hasn't been very good lately. But I wanna fix this.

I closed my eyes.

Leo: What did YOU want to say?

I sighed.

Me: Look, Leo... I think you've realized that I started to behave differently.

Leo: Yeah.

Me: I need more space.

Leo: You've already said this.

Me: Fuck I know.

Leo: Is everything alright?

Me: No. Everything sucks.

Leo: Wanna talk about this?

Me: I'm... I'm confused. I don't know what to say.

He was sad.

Me: I'm sorry.

Leo: For what?

Me: I still feel empty, Leo.

Leo: You're empty? But I'm here too-

Me: You can't make me feel complete.

I hate myself.

Me: I've faced so many difficult situations and-

Me: It's a part of my past that I can't get over.

He looked down on the floor.

Me: I can come with you tonight.

Leo: No it's okay. I don't wanna force you.

He was ready to go but I stopped him.

Me: I'll come. Because I love you.

Leo: If so, then stay.

Me: I just said I need space.

Leo: And I need you, please.

He hugged me tightly.

I hugged him back.

I got so so sad.

But I can't just pretend that I'm happy with him.

Me: I'll get ready. Alright?

He nodded.

Me: How's the woman we're going to visit?

Leo: Oh. She's very special. She's looking forward to meeting you.

Me: That's so sweet.

Leo: Her name is Madison.

Her name us Madi- WHAT?

But if it's Madison, she knows that I'm Leo's girlfriend.
