"Different" -Part 51

We continued talking, laughing, smiling on each other... I wasn't feeling nice.

It was like I was on a date.

I'm so ashamed... I love Leo and I don't wanna do this to him.

But I stayed.

Time went by fast.

It was 19:00PM.

Only me and him alone in a restaurant.

Me: The sky started getting darker. Shall we go?

Tinus: Oh my god time flies.

He stood up.

Tinus: You need to study, huh?

Me: Ugh unfortunately.

I stood up too.

We went outside and we went inside his car.

He started driving again.

Tinus: So... I've always wanted to ask. You were the one who chose this college in this area?

Me: Why are you asking?

Tinus: Well... you know... I thought you wouldn't come to Oxford just because of me.

I didn't reply.

Tinus: I know this is ridiculous. I'm not the only reason-

Some tears fell down on my cheeks.

He was kinda surprised.

Tinus: Y/N?

Me: Do you think it was easy? I moved on, Martinus. I fucking moved on. I said that I got over you. I came here. But I didn't forget about you.

He looked at me and then he continued driving.

He didn't say anything.

Some minutes later we arrived in my house.

Tinus: What are you going to study right now?

Me: Biology. The worst subject.

Both of us got outside the car.

Tinus: I'm gonna be a doctor. Biology is my subject.

I smiled.

Tinus: Want any help?

Me: Um yeah. It'd be appreciated.

Tinus: Cool.

Me: What about now?

Tinus: Excuse me?

Me: Come in. I'll thank you for helping me too.

Tinus: Alright.

We went inside my house.

Leo was going to come late at night.
I didn't care actually. A friend just came to help me with my studies. It's not bad.

Me: Alright let me find the book of-

He grabbed my arm and he pulled me closer.

I was surprised.

Tinus: I didn't forget about you either. I can't live without you.

Me: Martinus-

Tinus: What?

I took a deep breath.

Me: I didn't stop thinking about you either.

Tinus: I'm sorry for breaking up with you. I was ashamed. Your dad hated me.

Me: What about my love for you? It's not enough?

Tinus: It is. That's why I'm here right now.

Suddenly he kissed my lips.

I didn't know what to do.

I just let him continue...
