It was early in morning.
I was ready to get out of my apartment.

I made the correct decision.
And Leo helped me with that.

He stopped me.

Leo: Thank you.

Me: Thank u too. For everything. U just showed me the correct way.

Leo: I love u. U know I do.

Me: Same, Leo. That's why I'm doing this.

He hugged me tightly.

Me: A new start is waiting for both of us.

Leo: Are u ready?

I nodded.

Me: Are u?

He smiled.

Leo: Thank u for forgiving me.

I smiled and I hugged him.

Me: I'm leaving.

Leo: Alright.

Me: I'll call u.

He nodded, smiling.

Leo: See u little girl.

I smiled on him and I got out of the house.

Holding my suitcases, I screamed his name.

Me: Martinus I need your help.

He came closer.

Tinus: You're late, babe. What happened?

Me: I was just saying goodbye.

Tinus: He was a good guy, eventually.

Me: Leo? Yeah. I'd really want him as my brother.

He smiled, wrapping his arms around me and kissing my lips.

Me: But there is only one boy I wanna kiss with.

Tinus: Oh who's he? Do I know him? Is he a handsome, tall boy?

I smirked.

Me: I missed us.

Tinus: Why did u give me a second chance? U said u don't believe in second chances.

Me: I still don't.

Tinus: What does that mean? So-

Me: I believe in us. I trust you.

He smiled.

My eyes were wet.
His smile was weak.
We were still hurting.

Tinus: We'll be kinda late. Our new house is kinda far away from here.

Me: Then let's leave.

Tinus: u ready?

I smiled.

Me: If it's gonna be with u, then yes. I'm ready.

That day was a new start.

For all of us.

Me and Leo stayed friends.

Martinus is, and will always be the most important part of my life.

Most of people don't believe in second chances.

Nowadays relationships just end. They believe that ex is and must be a part of the past.

But mistakes are made.

And sometimes it's worth trying again.

You just need to be faithful.
You just need to love and trust that person.
That person who's changing your life. Who makes you smile.

Some people are Something Different than others.

They deserve a second chance.

They really do.

You just need to believe it.
