I took a deep breath.

He nodded.

A fake smile appeared on his face.

Martinus: I'm so glad to hear this.

Me: Yeah why? You were sad 'cause you broke my heart and you wanted to know if I'm okay now?

Martinus: I've never meant to hurt you, Y/N.

Me: But you did.

Martinus: I DID THIS TO PROTECT YOU. YOUR FATHER USED TO HATE ME. AND I'M SURE HE STILL DOES. WHAT DID YOU WANT ME TO DO? HAVING A SECRET RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS DAUGHTER?

Me: IF we truly LOVED each other, we would find a way.

Martinus: You said that I didn't truly loved you?

Me: That was for both of us. Not just for you.

He nodded.

Martinus: I did this because I love you.

Me: You-

Martinus: I mean, you know, I used to love you.

I nodded.

Me: It didn't work. I hurt more.

Martinus: No one is perfect.

Me: Yeap. I realized that you're not perfect that night.

He closed his eyes.

Martinus: I... I came here to tell you that you can leave now.

I nodded.

I tried to stand up but my leg was hurting.

Martinus: Did you move on, Y/N? Did you get over it?

I looked at him.

Me: Yes. I did.

Martinus: So will you let me help you? As your doctor and only.

I thought about it.

Me: The only way to help me is to leave me alone.

He nodded.

He opened the door and he left.

I sighed.

I stood up.

My leg was in pain.

Another doctor came to help me.

I got out of the building.

Okay now what.

Martinus: Y/N?

I turned around and I saw Martinus.

Martinus: You forgot your bag.

He gave it to me.

Me: Thank you.

He smiled a little bit.

Martinus: Will any of your friends come and pick you up?

I remembered Leo and I got sad.
He said it's nothing special.

Me: I... I'll go alone. It's nothing important.

Martinus: You kidding me? You can't even walk. It IS important.

Me: I'll be fine, Martinus.

I was ready to leave but he grabbed my arm. .
