I was hearing some people talking.

Man: Okay I'm leaving. She's alright.

2nd man: I'll stay with her, doctor. She'll wake up soon.

Man: Alright let me know when she wake up.

I heard someone opening and then closing the door.

Only one doctor was inside the room.

He didn't move. It was like he was starring at me.

I was weak and tired.

But I tried to open my eyes.

Me: Where am-

I stopped talking.

I stopped breathing.

My heart stopped beating.

I wasn't strong enough to say what it wanted to say.

I wanted to start screaming.

My eyes wanted to start crying.

But everything happened so fast.
My body didn't manage to react.

Him: I know you didn't expect to see me.

His voice was bitter.

It was like we were strangers.
Like we'd never seen each other again.
But, in fact, we had.

Me: What are you doing here, Martinus?

He didn't stop looking at me.

Tinus: It's for practice. We go to hospitals with people in my college.

Me: I don't care. What are you doing here in my room?

Martinus: It wasn't my choice, Y/N.

Me: Get the hell out of here.

Martinus: You're still mad?

Me: Mad? You think I'm mad?

Martinus: Many things happened between us, Y/N. But-

Me: Go fuck off. I've already got over it. My life is perfect.

Martinus: So is mine. I'm gonna be a doctor soon. My family, my friends are PROUD of me.

I got really angry.

Me: Why are you doing this?

Martinus: Just to remind you who was supposed to be mad here.

Me: Excuse me? YOU broke my heart.

He closed his eyes and then he continued looking at me.

Me: I've been always proud of you. I wasn't ashamed, Martinus.

Martinus: What do you wanna say? That I am at fault and YOU are the one who was supposed to be angry?

Me: I'm trying to say that no one should be mad because we have both moved on.

Martinus: You're right.

I nodded.

Martinus: I'll leave you alone.

Me: It would be appreciated.

He nodded.

We were looking deeply in each other's eyes.

He opened the door.

He was still looking at me.

I closed my eyes and he left.

I opened my eyes again.

Just tell me it's just a fucking dream.
