It's afternoon.

Me and Martinus holding each other's hands and we're walking inside my school.

Me: I'm kinda nervous.

Martinus: Come on babe. It's just a school dance.

She laughed and we hugged each other tightly.

She was looking at Martinus.

Me: A friend.

Madison: He was in your party last week. Who's he?

Me: He lives with us. He-

Me: Don't tell my parents.

I sighed.

Madison: I know.

We looked at each other, smiling.

Me: Yeap. Let's go.

We went closer to him.

Me: Hey Martinus. This is Madison. My best friend.
