Mystic Falls Woods

Damon is walking through a meadow with pure determination and talking to Rosie on the phone, "So your doppelgänger's the prime suspect, huh?"

"She doesn't think that she did it. She's just trying to find out why somebody used one of her family weapons to kill a council member."

"Well why don't you just ask Ric if his dirty little doctor had access to the weapons?" Her older icy blue-eyed best friend suggested suspiciously, referring to the case on who the murderer may be on Doctor Meredith Fell.

Alaric spoke up not too far from her, "You're on speaker phone, dick."

"Why do you suspect Meredith?" Rosie questioned her best friend cluelessly with a frown; why would a doctor murder an innocent council member?

"I'm just sayin' first suspects' usually the right one. Don't get so defensive." Damon hinted on the mysterious local murderer being the new doctor.

Rosie shakes her head a little, "I'm not defending her. I'm just asking why."

"Brian Walters was killed days ago, alright? I didn't show Meredith this stuff until last night!" The local AP History teacher admitted truthfully.

"Okay. It wasn't Meredith." Rosie clearly pointed out, "Why would she kill?"

"You're being defensive, Princess, and you're in denial." Damon sang before he spoke again, "She kills because she's a vengeful psychopath, and Brian Walters was her ex-boyfriend and Ric saw them fighting that night. Clues."

A scoff of pure disbelief escapes the protective Alaric, "You're assuming."

"It's not Meredith! Okay? Even though it's some ex who broke up with her. I refuse to believe that your luck with women is that tragic." Rosie asserted in defense, "And yes, I am defending her because she is innocent in this case."

"Who else knows about your secret little slayer stash?" Damon asked him.

"Who doesn't? Got weapons everywhere, here, the school, my loft, your car."

"That's just great." Rosie muttered sarcastically in a tired manner.

"It's Klaus. It has to be, he's screwing with us." Her best friend suspected.

"No, why would he kill a council member? It doesn't make sense. What if it was Stefan? He was crazy that night. And you know he was trying to get underneath Klaus' skin, he was capable of pretty much anything." Rosie suspected even though the truth that he's capable of anything when he's in for his reckless vengeance actually gives her an exciting thrill out of him.
