Aya Weathers

"What the fuck did we just do?" Chris asked me with his head rested on his fist.

"We started another scandal." I shook my head in disbelief. We were so caught up in the moment that we didn't realize what we were getting ourselves into. A whole lotta shit.

"Why did you have to kiss me like that?" He turned his head towards me. My face screwed up as I looked back at him.

"Don't try to put this on me. Everybody saw your ass freeze up because you bit off more than you could chew by lying to that girl. You should be thanking me for saving your ass from embarrassment." I stuck my nose into the air and crossed my arms. I was lowkey right and he knew it. I was always right.

"Sure, you stopped me from looking a mess. But it only got us into a bigger mess." Chris rolled his eyes.

"I'm sure it's not that big of a deal. Unless Ammika goes running her Twitter fingers, nobody else should find out." At that very moment, my phone began going off like crazy. Me and Chris shared the same expression, indicating that the same thing happened to him.

"I'm not checking it, you do it." I furrowed my brows and threw the responsibility onto him. Chris huffed and took his phone out of his back pocket, pressing on one of the Instagram notifications. The video of me and him locking lips was surfacing the Internet. It couldn't have been the fight instead?

"Damn, you look sexy as fuck." He bit down on his lip, causing me to smack him upside his head. Chris winced hard as hell because Lord knows that momma made me heavy handed as hell.

"Chris, everybody is gonna think we're a couple." I threw my head back and face-palmed myself.

"I'm pretty sure they already do." He corrected, only making me feel worse. Not helping.

"What the hell are we gonna do? If we tell them we're not a couple, it'll even more scandalous." I rubbed my temples. This shit is honestly much more stressful than it should be.

"If a couple is what they want, then a couple is what they'll get." He shrugged and pulled a blunt out of his pocket, along with a new red lighter to replace his empty blue one. I snatched the weed out of his mouth and put it in my pocket.

"The fuck do you mean a couple is what they'll get? How many times do I have to tell you, I don't like-" I began to ramble, but Chris silenced me.

"Hush! We don't have to be a real couple, just pretend like we're one. Then after a while, have a breakup scene." He explained his plan to me. I looked perplexed for a moment, but eventually realized how benign the idea was.

"You know, that might be the smartest thing I've ever heard you say. My question is, how long do you consider a while?" I raised my eyebrow as I took his lighter from him as well, just cause I knew he had another one of them bitches on him.

"Two, three months. Just long enough to make it seem genuine." Chris scratched his chin. Damn, I don't think I can do three months of this shit. It's already hard enough working 5 minutes with him.

"Alright," I sighed heavily, trying to recollect my thoughts. "Only on one condition. You can't mess with other girls. That goes for any sexual activity, flirting, booty calls, going out on dates, all that."

"Why not? It's not like it's a real relationship." Chris scrunched up his face. I can tell he's gonna fuck this up already.

"I would rather come out and tell everybody that we're not really together, than look stupid in my relationship. We know it's not real, they don't. If people see you being a hoe, it's gonna cause even more controversy." I hope he really takes my word into consideration.
