As I sat on my couch waiting for Karilyn to pick me up so we could go to the airport, there was a knock at the door. I sighed heavily and pushed myself off of the couch, going to the front door.

"You still mad at me?" Chris pushed past me and let himself in. I rolled my eyes and groaned.

"You still think that I'm that bad of a person to abort your baby just because I don't want one?" I ascended my eyebrow.

"I didn't say you were a bad person." He ignored the other half of my question.

"You implied it. So you still think I would abort your baby even though I already clarified that that isn't something I would do?" I crossed my arms and stood by the door, ready to open it back up for when I made him leave.

"You can't make me change my opinion on it. Don't try to make me feel bad for stating an opinion." He said stubbornly.

"Except, it's not an opinion. It's a false accusation, an assumption made based on a simple term taken out of context. If you're not here to apologize, you can leave." I motioned to the door as my hand remained rested on the doorknob.

"Why should I apologize? I told you how I felt, you couldn't handle that. Sound familiar?" He swore he was on to something.

"You don't know shit about me, get yo' disrespectful ass out of my fucking house." I swung the door open, only to see Karilyn standing there with her hand raised.

"Right on time." I clapped and grabbed my bags with a sly smile on my face. "Stay here if you want, I have a flight to catch." I slung my book bag over my shoulder.

"Where do you think you're going?" He furrowed his brows and stood up.

"I know I'm going out of town. Away from you and all of your bullshit. You have a nice weekend, Chris. Take some time out and think about your actions, cause right now I'm very much done. Don't bother calling, texting, FaceTiming, emailing, or checking up on me unless you're ready to right your wrongs. If I die or something, I'll let you know. Don't eva' call me though, I'mma call you." I snapped at him and went outside, placing my bags in her backseat.

"So you're leaving because you're mad?" He followed me outside.

"No," I chuckled. "I'm leaving to see family. You're just the icing on the cake. I'm not mad Chris, I'm being disrespected and don't want to be around someone who disrespects me. Bet that sounds familiar." I opened the passenger door, getting ready to get in.

"Can I at least get a hug? A kiss?" He sounded pitiful at this point.

"Can I at least get an apology? A real one? Oh, then I suppose not." I got into the car and slammed the door, locking it.

I rolled down my window, "Oh, go close and lock my door if you're gonna leave." I gave him a fake smile and rolled the window up.
