Michael's hand rested protectively on my thigh, a feeling I had grown used to but I hadn't grown used to Maya and Sam's eyes piercing through the back of my head.

I tried to keep my mind trained on the road as we sped towards Michael's house, Maya and Sam occasionally gasping at the large houses in the neighbourhood making Michael giggle.

"We're almost there." I turned round to them in the back making them clap in excitement. I didn't mind that they finally knew about Michael but I couldn't help the small bit of jealousy that I felt that he was no longer my secret.

I placed my hand over Michael's on my thigh, trailing my fingers over his veins earning a small side smile before he turned back to the road. The houses looking more familiar by the second until we pulled into Michael's driveway.

"Wow!!" Maya and Sam squealed, looking through the window of the car up to his house, their faces making me giggle as I remembered my similar reaction.

"We're here!" Michael laughed quickly jumping out the car as the three of us watched him stride round to my side, taking my hand to help me out. Maya and Sam jumped out, staring up at the house with open mouths, a slight smile etching onto their face.

Me and Michael led the way, hand in hand, towards the door as they trailed behind, taking in the surroundings. Unlocking the door, the familiar fresh scent filled my nose making me instantly feel safe.

"It's good to be home baby." I whispered leaning into his side, the feel of his body against mine so safe and comforting, his hand squeezing mine gently as he smiled down at me.

"I love you." He hummed quietly only to be heard by my ears, our moment being interrupted by Sam and Maya slamming the door shut making me jump.

"Sorry! Sir...your home is beautiful!" Maya complimented her eyes wide as she absorbed every intricate detail of Michael's lavish stunning home, Sam's eyes following Maya's around the room.

"Yeah it's truly stunning!" Sam agreed bringing her gaze back to me and Michael, his hand now rested on the small of my back his thumb rubbing small circle, sending shivers up my spine.

"That's very kind of you thank you, now what is it you'll be wanting for dinner ladies?" He questioned, his cheeks tinted the cutest shade of red at Maya and Sam's compliment.

"Chicken and chips!" The two of them reply excitidely in unison clapping their hands together. I couldn't help but snort out a laugh as Michael threw his head back groaning jokingly.

"What is it with you girls wanting chicken and chips?!" He excalimed throwing his hands in the air in defeat laughing as he placed a kiss on the top of my head receiving a content hum from me before he walked off into the kitchen.

I turned around to Maya and Sam who were wiggling they're eyebrows at me, a huge smirk plastered across both of their faces making me blush.

"Alissa!" Maya whispered excitedly as they skidded across to me on the wooden floor and wrapped their arms around me making me stumble backwards slightly laughing. "Look at you all grown up living your best life!"

"Stop!" I giggled, shaking my head and looking around again, always in awe every time I take everything in, I really was living my best life.

"Okay girl we have so many questions, like..."

"Why don't we got sit down first." I laughed grabbing both of their hands and leading them to the dining room where they gasped some more, this time at the chandelier. They sat down opposite me at the table, from my position I could see Michael in the kitchen talking to Mandy, both giggling at something Michael was pointing to in the cupboard.
