Bill POV

I felt a little bad that I used my magic on the boy. I had gotten so angry with what his story, I didn't feel angry at him but the man named Ford.

I couldn't place the angry during that time or even during the time I convinced him to leave the forest and come back later. I hadn't done much, only enough to calm him down because I saw my angry affecting and freaking him out. When I saw the look on his face I knew I needed to force my anger back and force him to leave the forest. I calmed him down to the point where the curious cat in his soul would lay down for a nap, long enough for me to get him safely out of the forest.

But now-

I sat at my outdoor desk burning my target tree over and over. My target tree is the tree I let my emotions and practice magic out on, I can regrow it as much as I want and do whatever I want to it with affecting the rest of the forest around it or me.

And right now...

I was lighting it in flames, watching it burn to the ground, regrowing it, then restarting the process over again.

I was still angry, I could still feel furry in my chest. I know that his fear of me was rational, but the nerve of him to try and get the boy to leave with my journal before I met him or could find my journal. I knew that was not where my anger ended but I refused to think to deeply into that.

"Sir!" A leaf nymphe showed as she came running from the forest, nymphes where flakey and skittish, not to mention afraid of everything. So the shock of fear on this leaf nymph's face was no surprise or worry to me.

"What is it, can't you see I'm busy?" I growled pausing my firework show to speak to her.

"Yes very busy, yes I can see," She said quickly falling to her knees. I wasn't going to deny that when my creatures bowed to me, I liked it. But now something in my gut had me grab her arm and pull her to her feet.

"You may stand before me." I growled returning to my set.

She was now on the verge of crying, I probably scared her half to death when I grabbed her without warning, "Yes Sir!"

"Tell me, why have you come running to me?" I asked trying to calm myself, if she started crying it would be the end of it, you can never get anything out of a crying nymphe.

"Humans are in the forest!" she squeaked.

I jumped to my feet, "Where!"

With a shriek she sunk back down to her knees again, but not in a bow, simply because her legs gave out and she fell, "At the lake!" she cried.

I ignored her sobbing and bolted over her, humans where the most irrational creatures and it's almost impossible to guess what they were planning to do. But part of me, deep deep down had a little hope, maybe it will be Pinetree...

I was mistaken, and unexplainable disappointed. What it really was, was an old man and a girl that, by my best guess was about 20.

Before aproting them, I hung from nearby trees to listen in, to find out why they were here.

"Did you find him?" The girl asked, she looked worried, her eyes never staying in one place checking every where.

"No, I haven't been out here in years, though not much has changed, I don't know where to look for him." The man responded and the girl let out a breath of frustrated air.

"He's here somewhere, I know he is. This is the only place he would come." She said.

I raised a brow, who ever they were looking for, they were looking in the wrong place, I would have known if someone else had entered the forest, a ninfe or nome would have told me.

I decided they searched my forest long enough, it was time to ask if I could help.

"Who, may I ask are you looking for?" I asked still up in the tree, I countained my magic earlier in front of Pinetree, but I couldn't contain it right now. So these humans could see the magic flow coming off my body as I slowly jumped out of the tree.

The fear that crossed the man's face was priceless, and the girl tucked behind him peering out at me with confusion and fear.

"Back off, I know who you are." The man barked.

"Ah, a native. So you've heard of me." I sung lightly leaning onto one leg, with on hand on my hip and with my other I placed my pointer on my chin tilting my head to the side a little, like a dog. "Tell me, in the years of my absence, what has been said of me?" I asked in the same tone.

The fear on the mans face had hardened into rage as I spoke, but unfazed I waited for him to ask me. "People that believed in your existence, think you either left or went mad."

I hummed, both logical responses to my outburst and then my hibernation. "And what do you think happened."

"I think you have gone completely mad." He growled.

I laughed lightly, "oh but that's not all, no is it? No you think I'm mad but that doesn't scare you, no, no in actuality it just gives your human heart a reason to want me dead, or to even kill me yourself. Am I wrong?" I knew all of this by simply looking into the anger in his eyes, anger like that is only satisfied with murder.

"Your not wrong, I may be out of line saying this, but Gravity Falls would be better off if you were dead." The man said, I could tell he chose his words carefully, but the hatred in his voice was clear.

"Well, if that's how you really feel than, I can't have someone out for my head just running around." I said my voice changing tone with every word, I could feel my anger boiling over and I was no longer holding back. "Now I have to ask you something." I said slowly looming over them, "Who are you looking for and why do you think their in my forest?" I said louder this time, the girl behind him was shaking and crying, the man stood strong glaring at me still.

"A boy, ran away from home last night, knowing him, this forest is the first place he would come." he shouted up at me, I stood almost 7 feet taller than him now.

"Really-" Before I could continue, Pinetree crossed my mind. He ran away from home last night and the first place he came was here. "You are the only humans here in the forest right now. There is no one else. Now if you don't leave I will kill you." I growled at them, not liking the idea of Pinetree being connected to this man.

"Please!" the girl cried, "He's my twin. He looked like me and always wears a blue hat, and always cares a stupid book with him!!" she cried, trying to explain to me what their missing boy looked like, and the more she spoke the more it concreted to fact that it was Pinetree they were looking for. So they were looking for him to what? Send him home? Take my journal from him? Or worse?

Nope not going to happen.

I pulled myself back together slowly pulling my magic back in and shrinking back to my regular height.

"Ah! I can help you." I sung pretending nothing happened loving the shock on their faces. "You're looking for Pinetree, and you guessed right he did come here, but knowing what he told me of you I will not tell you anymore than that he is truly no longer in my forest, but I won't tell you more." I stepped to the side as if I was in the way of the only door in a locked room, "Now leave, and if you find him," my magic over flowed again, "he is not to leave Gravity Falls any time soon." I growled than forced them to start walking and walk passed me, I continued to force them out until they were on the edge of the forest.

"Man Pinetree, you have some weird family." I muttered returning to my desk, and my tree.
