jungkook was holding me softly and hummed one of his favorite songs to me. because of him, i finally calmed down. for once, i was grateful that i couldn't feel the bruises nor scars that were scattered all over my body. he kept whispering,
"i'm so sorry" over and over again softly in my ear in between the humming.
"this isn't your fault jungkookie" i turned to make eye contact with him.
"but i promised to stay by your side. now you're hurt." he couldn't look into my eyes.
"you haven't broken the promise. you still saved me. you're my guardian angel." i put my hands on his cheeks and gave him a smile.
stop doubting yourself, you deserve so much better for yourself.
