Closing my eyes

Twilight pov

I laid down feeling tied already from training Wild today. He has gotten better these past days. I smiled thinking about him complaining at how hungry he was today. Time says I am to gentle with him. I can't help it seeing Wild get all mad being all huffy puffy. I chuckle to myself thinking about him. Thinking about our little moments of us smiling and looking at each other across the room. I close my eyes feeling tied. I hug my pillow thinking of Wild.

I wake up to someone opening my door. I look at who it is.

"Wild?"

I ask feeling confused at why he is here in the middle of the night. He avoided eye contact with me. His eyes looked like he had been crying because of how glossy they looked, around them was tinted red.

"Could I sleep here for tonight." He asked I felt embarrassed about what he was asking. I nodded my head. Wild walked over to my bed laying down on it. "Is something wrong?" I asked he turned away from me. He nodded. "What the matter?" I asked feeling worried already. "I had that dream again." He said looking more sad. "Oh" I said knowing that he told me about it before. He spoke up again "I can't sleep." I looked at him turning on my side. "So why did you come to me?" I asked not wanting to sound mean. He shrugged. "I don't know I guess I just trust you more." He said looking down honestly looking like he didn't really know why.

"I just thought" He trailed off. "You know what never mind." He said not wanting to tell me or he did not know truly himself. He got closer to me resting his head close to my chest. "I feel sleepy but I can't close my eyes because I'm scared of what will happen if I do" He said. "So I hoped maybe some company would make me less scared, I know it sounds stupid." He said feeling nervous. "No it's not don't worry" I said to him. "Hey could you just try and relax me maybe if i'm relaxed and calm then I will fall asleep" He said finally closing his eyes but only to hold onto my shirt like he was scared something was going to take him away. I didn't know what to do to make him feel calm. I shift around awkwardly. 

I started to hum. I could tell that Wild was shocked by me humming but closed his eyes again. Once I started humming he hugged onto me, I smiled still humming and stroking his hair. Wild was breathing softly his eyes closed as he cuddled more into me his head was basically on my chest now. I started to fall asleep now. I kissed his head before going to sleep.

Wild's pov

I felt shocked once I felt his lips on my head. He kissed my head! Did he think I was sleeping or what. I could tell he went to sleep because he stopped humming and stroking my hair. I get on my elbows looking at him. I blushed touching my head. I smiled though as I leaned forward kissing his forehead. I laid back down hearing his heartbeat. I stayed like this for awhile. Before I heard laughter. Until I felt a kiss being placed on my forehead. I smiled. Once I felt him lay back down I opened my eyes seeing his eyes staring back at me. That's when I felt a pair of lips on mine I blushed, but kissed back. He placed his hands around my waist. We both stopped and laid back down.

We kept repeating the process.
