You and Mikey walked into the lair, laughing about a joke Mikey had told, not exactly paying attention to your surroundings. A voice caught your attention, bringing you away from the conversation.

You turned your head towards the voice, and you saw Donnie exiting the lab. Beside him was a girl, about your age, wearing a yellow sports-like jersey with the number five on it.

"Oh, (Y/N)!" Mikey yelled, excitement in his voice, "this is April! She's our other human friend!"

You smiled at April, holding out your hand to shake. She took the offer with a warm smile. "Nice to meet you!" you said.

"Nice to meet you too," April replied "Donnie was saying you've been helping him with the retro mutagen"

You nodded "yeah, though I don't think I've been much help, considering my only job is keeping Mikey entertained" April and Donnie both laughed at the comment.

"That's more help than you could imagine," Donnie jokes. "By the way, I was gonna try to do some work now, can you keep him busy for a bit?"

"You don't have to ask me to hang out with my best friend Donnie. That's what I came down here for anyway!"

You said your goodbyes, telling April it was nice to meet her, then followed Mikey as he leads you to his bedroom.

Mikey tried to shut the door, but Leo poked his head in, telling Mikey that he had to leave the door open if you were in there.

You saw Mikeys face flush a bright crimson, something you had never seen before. "We're not gonna do anything dude!" he whined, pouting at his eldest brother.

You chuckled at Mikey's whining but assured him you were okay with keeping the door open. Mikey's flushed face died down and his normal chipper smile returned to his face.

You hung out in Mikey's room the whole night, playing video games, watching tv, and just generally having a good time. Late into the night, you had turned on a movie and were both lying in Mikey's bed as you watched.

The movie seemed to drag on, and as it did, your eyelids grew heavier and heavier. And soon enough, your drowsiness took over you and you were fast asleep.

You regained slight consciousness when you felt a pair of arms under your body, but you didn't think much of it, drifting back off to sleep.

Ou regained consciousness once again when a cold wind stuck your face. 'Who opened a window?' you thought, attempting to curl into a ball to avoid the cold. This didn't work, however, as the arms were still around you, holding you in place.

"Don't worry (Y/N)," you heard a voice say, "you're almost home," you felt yourself nod before once again drifting back to sleep.

A faint metal creaking is what brought you back this time, followed by faint padding footprints on carpet.

You were laid gently on your bed, your covers pulled up around you as you curled into a ball.

"Heh, goodnight (Y/N)," you heard the voice whisper, before a pair of soft lips pecked your forehead in a goodnight kiss.
