The next few days flew by in a blur, few details really stuck out to you. However, the severity and intensity of Leo's training regime seemed to amp up to an eleven.

You were eating dinner peacefully one evening when Leo piped up.

"Saturday. That's when we'll head back to the city."

"Leo are you outta your shell?" Raph shouted, "we'll be turtle soup in seconds!"

"Not this time, this time we'll have the upper hand. We can do it."

You looked around at everyone at the table, everyone else doing the same as a silent agreement was shared.

"We'll take back the city, save everyone, and find Master Splinter!" Leo shouted, a passionate flame in his eyes.

The rest of the table cheered. Everyone was obviously ready to return to their normal lives.

"We'll save your dad, April!" Donnie enthused.

"And your family!" Mikey added, smiling at you.

You smiled, thinking about how much you missed your family. "It'll be fun trying to explain this to them.' you joked, secretly hoping this catastrophe wouldn't need an explanation.

The next few days were packed with nothing but training. From the moment the boys woke up to the moment they passed out with barely any breaks. Even April and Casey were training, although not as fervently as the turtles.

You felt a little useless doing nothing but bringing food out and journaling, but Donnie assured you you would have an important role to play in taking back the city.

You watched daily, acting as moral support as everyone around you worked themselves to the bone.

A few nights before the team was to head back into the city, Leo proposed one last campfire. You looked around at your exhausted friends and smiled. One last bit of fun before storming the city.

"I'll gather some firewood!" you chimed, shooting out of your seat and heading to the firewood stockpile as the rest of the team followed.

Mikey brought out the last of the marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate, and Donnie and Raph started the fire.

You sat around the bright bonfire, roasting marshmallows, making s'mores and enjoying your last night at the farm, the bright stars twinkling overhead.

You were gazing up at the plethora of stars and constellations in the night sky until something caught your eye. The fire had lost its warm amber hue, instead turning a bold, bright blue.

"MASTER SPLINTER?"
