Hovering just a few inches above the bonfire was an apparition of Master Splinter, you could hardly believe it!

"Sensei!" Leo shouted, jumping to his feet. "Is it really you?"

The apparition looked down at Leo and smiled kindly, "in a sense, my son, my mind and body are not my own at this moment, but now is the time to return, the shredder and the Kraang are weak"

Everyone stared in awe, drinking in every word, committing them to memory as he told the team what to do.

As you understood it, there was one more spiritual obstacle for the turtles to conquer, one that, according to Splinter, lied in wait at the heart of the forest.

"But you will have to go alone my sons," he continued, "what lies ahead is for you and you alone to experience"

The turtles looked at eachother, steely determination in their eyes.

"We're ready, sensei, just tell us what we need to do," Leo said.

Splinter continued to explain the quest that awaited the turtles, singling each of them out and going into detail about the kind of problem they might face.

And with a respectful bow, he disappeared, leaving you all in awe, unsure if what was just seen was real.

Whether it was real or not, everyone now knew what they had to do.

And the time to do it was now.

The turtles shot from their seats and gunned it to the farmhouse, emerging minutes later, decked out in darker coloured masks, extra armour, and warrior paint.

It was now or never.
