After saving Dinner, you and Raph were sitting down in the living room to play a game of Dominoes. You had already played three games today and Raph was determined to beat you at least once but to no avail.

"Why are you so good at this game?" he barked, losing for the fourth time today.

"I'm good at paying attention to a lot of things at once, I'm sure Mikey or Leo could beat me, but you have tunnel vision"

He scowled at you, though the face had no malice behind it. "I'd love to watch you lose to Mikey" he teased, kicking back on the couch.

"Mikey could beat me if he took his mind off of toppling the Dominoes over for a while,"

You looked over at Mikey, who had since snatched a few Dominoes and had lined them up on their sides.

As Mikey pushed one over, the rest of them followed suit, toppling over with a satisfying clicking noise. You smiled as Mikey stood all the dominoes back up, hoping to topple them once more.

"You know, this is kind of how life works" you commented, causing Mikey to pause just before toppling the first Domino.

"Life? How?" he questioned, cocking his head to the side.

You smiled, explaining how one event leads to another, which leads to another, which eventually leads to the present, but Mikey still didn't get it.

"Here, think of it this way," you said as you grabbed a few more dominoes. "This one at the end is now. It's us playing with Dominoes, and the one on the other end is the first time we met,"

Mikey watched intently as you explained, his eyes wide with curiosity.

"All the dominoes in between, are events that happened between then and now, y'know, me meeting your brothers, us getting together, coming out here, it's all because of this first domino" you pushed the domino over, watching as it subsequently knocked all the others over.

"What happens now?" Mike asked, "we're at the end of the chain, does that mean this is it?"

Both you and Raph laughed at Mikey's cluelessness, but you smiled kindly at your boyfriend, driving away his solemn expression.

"No, there's always more dominoes Mikey, we just can't see them right now. If we had an infinite amount of dominoes, the chain would go on forever,"

Mikey seemed to understand this, brightening up as you spoke.

You yawned as you cleaned up the Dominoes, finally ready to lay down for the night.
