You caught each other in a kiss, something that you knew deep down you had waited for for a long time.
It took a while for the kiss to break, not that you minded, but when you finally parted, you were both slightly out of breath.
"Dude, you don't know how much I've wanted to do that" Mikey said, his smile wide on his face.
You returned the smile, your face being squished when Mikey cupped your face in his hands.
You both broke out into laughter, all the tension seemed to float away, and you and Mikey were instantly more comfortable in each other's presence.
You spoke for hours about what had happened while you were apart. It wasn't much, but you listened intently to each other, satisfied and content in the others company.
You were about to boot up a video game when Mikey's ringtone blared from on the desk.
He jumped to answer it, talking quietly into the phone, hanging up after a while.
"It was Leo, he wanted to know where I was"
You looked at Mikey with a mixture of concern and anger. "Did you run off in the middle of patrol?" you scolded, noticing as Mikey's expression grew nervous.
"Mikey," you sighed, "I'm flattered that you wanted to hang out with me that bad, but you should go see your brothers,"
Mikey smiled as you lead him towards the window.
"I'll stop by the lair tomorrow, okay?"
"Okay!"
"Goodnight Mikey,"
Mikey planted a quick kiss on your lips before climbing out the window.
"Goodnight (Y/N)"
