Chapter IX

There was no way you were going outside, every part of your body was shaking and you didn't understand why, your breath was heavy, and your stomach felt weird. What he had done to you? Poisoned you? There were a billion questions filing up your mind, but the one that suddenly concerned you was; why am I hiding?

After Mr. Ito had caught you kissing Zoro you made a run for it, no explanation or a real reason, you just did it. It was like an if your instincts had gone crazy, your heart was beating so fast you thought it was going to pop out of your chest, you tried to reason with yourself but when you heard his voice calling for you, you kept running, and faster.

You managed to get into one of the shrines spaces into a small closet room, you even covered your mouth trying not to make any sound, still, you could hear your heart beat all around the room like an echo. This feeling was overwhelming to you, you had never felt like this in your life over someone, where you really falling in love? you didn't know

-Y/N? - you heard a voice outside of your hiding spot and the door swinger wide open- why are you here? - your father asked. He looked at how messed up you looked and he got worried, you could barely speak and your face was as red as a tomato- are you okay dear? - he kneeled to check up on you

-I'm... fine- you managed to say. He touched your forehead and it was hot

-I think I'll be better if you rest a little, let me get you to your room- he helped you stud up and hold you- if you were feeling sick you could just have told me

-I... I'm not feeling bad It's just that...- your father stopped, you couldn't tell him, you didn't know how he'll take it, you don't even know how to take it

-Look, that Zoro guy has been running around again- he pointed out to the green haired guy, you looked at him from the corner of your eye, he was running to the place you were hiding a minute ago- I wonder if he needs something from the shrine

You couldn't tell him. Instead you just hold your father a little tighter and kept walking, you honestly couldn't talk to anyone about this at all, or at least that was what you felt. And as soon as you got to your room you just sank into your thoughts. You needed to cool down before making any decision or it was going to get messy

-She's not here- Zoro complained to Mr. Ito who was following him around making sure he wouldn't get lost while still holding his sake bottle and drinking from it- why did she ran!?- he complained, he had tried to follow her but he had lost her mid-way to the shrine and Mr. Ito had to help him out

-You scared her

-You were the one who scared her! - Zoro complained, he couldn't believe you had actually run, he had never seen someone do that in his life and he was worried, worried he had done something wrong

-No, you scared her- he insisted, Zoro took the bottle out of his hands, Mr. Ito only gave him a sad face- you don't understand women- Zoro didn't mind what he was saying, he didn't know where to look next- you should let it rest boy, she needs to think through some stuff- Mr. Ito patted Zoro's back and walked away

-What am I supposed to do then? - he really didn't have any clue as to what to do, he felt like he needed to speak to her, but Mr. Ito was right and just like her, he needed to cool down a little. He walked to his room and decided to take a shower to really think about the situation

He now was feeling conflicted, he needed to be training, not worrying about this and still he couldn't get over it, it was starting to bother him more than he intended to. If he decided to do something with her, what would he actually do? He was leaving in a year and it would not be convenient for him or you. You were too good for him, you actually had something to do here, you were passioned about everything you did and that was something he couldn't take of you. Why am I thinking about this? Zoro couldn't believe he had actually thinking about the future with someone he didn't know much about, maybe she wanted to leave or not, he didn't know

Zoro got outside after that shower, still thinking about the actual situation he was in. After thinking about for a long time, the only thing, he could think of was speaking with you again, but if that ended up being like today it will go nowhere. He sat in the floor outside, it was already night time and the night breeze was southing for him.

-I'm sorry- he turned to see you behind him, you had taken a shower too to ease yourself too. You sat next to him, but couldn't see him at the eyes- I shouldn't have run away

-You don't have to apologize, I shouldn't have just kissed you like that- he felt something leaning on his shoulder, you were leaning on him trying to comfort yourself, you felt like it was the right thing to do

-It freaked me out- you admitted- I had never felt... this for anyone ever, I know I might be interfering with your training, you are not here to date or anything like that so I guess It'll be better if we stay on what we agreed

-Y/N-he interrupted you. He took your face with his hands and gave you a kiss in the cheek- it's late, you should go to sleep

Zoro was bad expressing himself, he was aware of that. But when he did this, you understood. None of you had the slightest idea of what was going to happen, but you both were willing to give it a try to something you barely understood, he now knew it was new for you and you knew he was here to get better

-Good night...- you said standing up with Zoro's help- sleep tight Roronoa- you kissed his cheek back and walked away
