Chapter XXII

-Zoro...- you said kissing his cheek softly- wake up... it's already time- Zoro's eyes opened immediately a huge sight coming from him- are you ready? - he nodded.

The day of the first tournament had arrived and he was more than ready and prepared for this, knowing he had become stronger. He looked at you and smiled to himself, he wouldn't mind waking up like this to all his fights, it made him feel better somehow. Zoro stud up and went to the restroom, leaving you to see his cute naked butt as he walked there.

-Hurry, I don't want you to be late- you said starting to get dressed, you were probably way more excited about this than him, he just wanted to get over this one to get to the one he really wanted- who are you fighting today?- you asked

-The same newbies and some old friends- he said intriguing you

-Uuuh, who? - you asked but he just patted your head getting ready himself to leave.

Once out of the hotel, G. was kind enough to disguise you as his new trainer to avoid any unnecessary questions and drove to the place the match was going to be held. Zoro held your hand all the way there as he tried to focus his mind to be ready to knock them out and leave.

-The uniform is the bag- said G. throwing a bad to him making you raise an eyebrow- Y/N, have you seen him in his uniform? - you shook your head and looked at Zoro who looked away making you smile devilishly

As soon as you got there you were send to a private room with Zoro's team; G. and you, apparently, he never wanted more so G. did everything. Once there, they gave read him the rules and left for him to change for the match, which was amazing because you got to see him on the uniform G. mentioned

-You look so handsome! - you said hugging him which made him blush- you should wear this more often

-I really don't- he said fixing himself up a little bit and taking his swords to stretch and practice before the match

-Y/N- said G- let's go, I'll show you were to stay- you looked at Zoro confused but he nodded, so you followed G. outside into the big arena- he needs to get prepared alone, trust me, he's alright

-Thank you...- you said looking around as other swordsmen walked around- how many is he fighting today?

-5 if everything goes well- said G.- then 2 more places and he's good to go for the finals, I know this one is just too easy for him but he needs this to go all the way to the top...

-I'm sure he'll get there, and more- you said sitting on the correspondent area- can't wait to see the results of his hard work- G. looked at you for a second and smiled

-I have to bring him now, stay here, okay? -you nodded as he proceeded to leave

The first matches were awesome, at least for you, because they were the first ones that you've ever seen. But when Zoro presented himself you could almost feel the tension growing in the new ones and the others as they all knew he was almost a winner the year prior, and then he started.

-Roronoa Zoro and Cabaji- said the man with the microphone as the two of them got in the arena and started to fight when he gave the order. In no time Cabaji was on the ground and Zoro had gotten his required 3 points. It was brutal how fast it had been, not even giving him a chance.

He then fought against 3 more people, all of them having the same result, barely making the match 10-minute-long and because of the small pauses in between points. You were surprised on how good he was, and know understood why G. said that this was way too easy for him. And just like it started, the last match was announced between Zoro and a guy named Mikasuki which Zoro looked really annoyed about

-See that man? - pointed G. to Zoro's opponent- he injured another swordsman last year on purpose... he's a scumbag

-I can see that Zoro doesn't like him- you said seeing how defensive he looked in front of him

-Not at all, he had to intervene and took the boy out of the man's grip- you looked confused- oh, sorry, he injured the swordsman outside here for winning against him, I'm surprised he made it top in here...

Zoro berated the man even faster than the others, not having any mercy on him, he was barely able to stand up some times before getting hit, he didn't even had the chance to swing at Zoro who stud above him testing his courage all the time, just getting to the same conclusion that he got the last year, "coward" he thought.

-Roronoa Zoro wins- claimed the referee making everyone stand up and clap, specially you. G. saw something new in Zoro, he didn't leave like he did after every match but stud there receiving the attention, but it wasn't the public's but yours. He could feel how he was staring just at you and only paying attention to you.

You ran down when he was called to receive his first medal as "his trainer" with G., you watched proudly how he received his honors and was congratulated for his participation, now being invited to the next part in Osaka a month later.

-You did awesome! - you said when you finally had the chance

-He is pretty awesome- said another swordsman who was accompanied by another one- it's been a while Zoro

-Johnny, Yosaku- said Zoro smiling to them- you've improved- he said bro hugging his friends- it's a shame we could fight each other

-Will do next time- said Yosaku- uuuh, is that your trainer!?- he said swirling over you- Yosaku, ma'am

-Y/N- you said getting closer to Zoro as to avoid that interaction which he caught right away

-Zoro, dating you trainer? - he said raising an eyebrow

-Say something and I'll cut you up- he said earning a chuckle from both of them- Y/N, they are old friends, don't listen to them

-Is that manager of yours around? -both looked around- we can sneak up to the bar if you want to, and bring your girl if she wants to- said Johnny

-Not this time, I want to show her more of the city before we leave tomorrow- he said holding your shoulder making you smile proudly- maybe when everything is over, we can have a drink

-We'll cheer for the best swordsman- said Yosaku before G. got Zoro from the collar and started pulling him away, you following him behind- see 'ya!!

-Come on Zoro we need to get going- said G now letting go of him while you were a little behind- aren't you a lucky one? -he asked looking at you, Zoro also looked at you
