Dreams are only dreams. It was sad to say it but it was true, no matter how bad you wanted to, you just couldn’t bring yourself to leave, you had to stay. So when you decided to do so, he left without you. Without saying anything, he just left. There was nowhere to find him and for a moment you thought he had got lost, but his things were gone too. It was hard, for you, for him.It was sad seeing he left without you, but you knew you couldn’t leave either way, and that was why he left.

He would never say that it hurt him, it hurt him a lot. But knowing you had to stay, he couldn’t afford to get more in love without you knowing he had to leave, he wanted you to go with him, but you had made your choice, and he had to make his. Full of emotions and a lot of thought he had left to keep training back home, he couldn’t gather the courage to say goodbye, because he didn’t want to say it, he somehow hoped to see you again, he wished that to be true.

-Want some booze kiddo?- Mr. Ito asked you, you hadn’t realized you had stayed on the same position for minutes while you cleaned the sand near the zen garden, it had also took you a moment to realize Mr. Ito was talking to you- come on, it’ll cheer you up a little bit

-I don’t want alcohol… I’m fine- you said shaking your head and continuing with your work, yet you got distracted again as the place reminded you of you and Zoro’s first kiss, it was painful

-You are thinking about him again, don't you?- he sighted. It had been already a month, and he had seen you do the same thing every day. Wake up and do your chores, yet little things would remind you of him and you’ll stop, quietly suffering a broken heart and then continuing to work until you went to sleep. Every day- time is the best medicine for a broken heart… your mother told me that once

-I want to leave…- you mumbled to yourself, Mr. Ito looked sad at you- I want to leave and see the world, I want him… I want to see the world with him- tears fell from your eyes, rolling down your cheeks until they fell near your feet- I want to do more than this…- the sadness went over you as you fell on your knees covering your face

-Y/N…- Mr. Ito patted your back before looking up at the other spectator who had seen the scene, your father looked broken hearted at you, knowing he had made you stay all this years as a selfish act born from a trauma he never got over with, it wasn’t his fault, he was just scared but you were miserable and not happy there

-I want to leave…- you cried until someone placed its hand on your head caressing your head slowly, another pair of tears falling on the ground, but not yours

-Maybe it’s time to do so…- your father said kneeling to hug you- maybe it’s time for you to fly away- he tried his best to not sound sad despite his shaky voice betraying him- I can’t keep my little bird caged…

-I don’t want you to be alone…- you cried holding him tight as he also cried
-I’m… I’m not alone, I have everyone here with me- he said while Mr. Ito shared a tear- I can’t let you stay if I have to see you like this… I want you to be happy, I’m sure your mother would’ve wanted the same thing, don’t you think?

-What should I do then?- you asked trying to clean your tears, your eyes meeting with your father’s as he gave you a warm smile, it was almost as if he had somehow free himself, knowing he needed to let you go, he knew you were going to be okay, that it was going to be hard, but it was what he had to do

-Go

Training was not the same, not since he left. The boring and absurd gym had limited his style making him improvise by using other gym equipment as weight and stuff, the gym instructors were not happy about this. As his new training team, they sucked, they didn’t understand Zoro’s techniques and strength, making him hate them as soon as G got them for him. He wanted to go back so bad, but he was somehow afraid.

-You are still missing 24…- one of his trainers told him nervous as they had grow afraid of Zoro not long after they met him

-It’s enough- he said leaving the colossal weight on the floor, the trainers didn’t dare to say or do anything but nodded and walked out knowing he most likely wouldn’t continue

-Zoro, you have to keep it up, the finals are in 3 days- G said throwing a water bottle to him, he had seen Zoro deteriorate since he left, it was like he had left part of his motivation back with you

-it’s alright- he excused himself drinking some water- I need to rest

-You need to finish those 24- he didn’t turn, because it was impossible, he had thought of this happening, but it couldn’t be- Roronoa you are still missing 24- but there was again, your voice, it was like it was daring him to turn and figure out if he had gone mad or not

-It was about time you showed up- G said, making Zoro smirk knowing he wasn’t crazy, so he turned to see you. It was for a second, like nothing had happened, like you had never been a part. You walked to him, and he almost ran. He went for a kiss, but you went for his ear

-You haven’t finished the 24- you said pulling from his ear, just to gain a smile from Zoro, the one you had fallen in love with, so you kissed him- I missed you….

-I missed you too- he said, you had done something to him. Suddenly for Zoro the world around him had recovered its color, its meaning, you had lighted it up again. He could see from the way you looked at him, that you were there to stay with him. And you were. You called G and took the first bus to Zoro’s city, hoping he wouldn’t reject you for your previous decision- is it…?

-Forever- you answered- or until I get bored of your handsome face- you said kissing him again, but before he could gain control over the kiss you parted away- now let’s get you in shape, you have to beat this Mihawk guy and I can see this people don’t know a single thing about training people

-I hired them…- G said from afar

-Shut up
